MAXIMUM Workpiece Support

When designing the fence for this system we kept having the same issue happen over and over again. The standard 90 degree end on most miter gauge fences made the fence to saw blade gap too large and the wood kept binding in that gap. Our solution was to simply cut the fence ends at a 45 degree angle so that the fence can get as close as possible to the blade with minimal stock over hang. This helps prevent binding and produces a much cleaner cut.

Convenient Aluminum Flip Stop

Included with the fence and miter gauge is a convenient flip stop for making repetitive cuts. Simply slide the flip stop to the exact position you need it to be, lock it in place and you're ready to go! When the stop is not needed you can either remove from the fence or simply lift the stop upwards and out of the way until it is needed.

Accurate and Easy to Adjust

The Fulton Miter Gauge is loaded with great features. One of the more prominent features are the positive stops that are set to the most common angles used by woodworkers. Simply loosen the handle by rotating it counter clockwise, pull the spring loaded pin lock up and and adjust the miter gauge to the desired angle. Once you find your positive stop angle, release the lock pin so it locks the angle in place and re-secure the handle by rotating int clockwise until it is snug. If you want to use an angle that is not one of the positive stops, the pin lock can be pulled upward and rotated so that it won't engage any of the positive stop holes. This allows you to adjust the miter gauge to any angle you need.

Left Side, Right Side or Even Upside Down...

For the most part, we tend to cut on one side of our table saw the majority of the time. It usually depends on the saw or just simply preference. This is why we included two different sticky back (PSA pressure sensitive adhesive) tapes so you can choose which direction you need. We also know that some of use like to do things a little differently. If you are looking down at your miter fence from above then it may make sense for some of us to place the tape on to the aluminum fence upside down in relation to the miter gauge. This allows for you to be able to clearly read the measurements on the tape.

Standard Size Miter Bar 3/4" x 3/8"

The steel miter bar is mounted to the miter gauge and is the industry standard of 3/4" x 3/8". This means it will fit into most table slot miter slots. The miter bar also features spring loaded plungers that can be adjusted (with a hex key wrench) for just the right fit so you have a smooth push through every time.

Now, to me, that doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't the stand come with brackets to hold the saw? It would be like buying a kitchen blender "stand", and then having to buy the glass blender container. Weird.

Question:	How hard is it to level the jig when adjusting the side support
Answer:	The bit is capable of being set to the depth of 1/4. I have never personally made a dovetail this small though because I used the jig only a few times and I only worked with soft woods. I believe if hardwoods were being used 1/4 would be adequate depth.
Question:	I looked at the videos. Am I correct in assuming that you have to remove the blade guard in order to use this
Answer:	I believe the bit is a 3/8 dovetail bit. I bought mine when I bought the jig. I would look up the jig on amazon and go to the "people who bought this item often buy..." I think that's how I got mine. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is the absolute minimum thickness the jig will cut? I need to rip 1/4" strips
Answer:	Yes, you can make box joints with the 4210.
Question:	What is the difference between the gr 100 and the gr 200by model and is it worth the price difference
Answer:	I believe it's a 1/2" shank but I'm not absolutely sure. It's in my shop up in CT and I'm in NYC at the moment, so I can't check it. I'll check this weekend and send confirmation. But your router should be able to handle 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" shanks with different collets.

Answer:	If you have a mitresaw stand from Dewalt this item will work for you, I think you should ask a Dewalt dealer if does work with the dwx735. I am personally not familiar with the dwx735. I know of a dw735x planer, but don’t think the work piece support will work with the planer. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help to you.
Question:	Does it come in a set of two
Answer:	No. They come single. They work well. I use three on my stand. The third one works well for short piece cuts close to the saw.

Answer:	The description for the this, DW7232, says that it is exclusive for the DW723. That is incorrect as I own the DWX723. It came with two in the original purchase. I purchased two more to help with all the trim work I do. Purchase with confidence.

Question:	How do you keep it from sliding with the wood as you are cutting
Answer:	Once the knob is tightened, the Hedgehog doesn't slide or rotate easily. When the knob is tightened, it causes the conical head of the screw to expand the miter clamp which tightens it in the miter slot. There are two possible causes for the miter clamp not being secure in the miter slot: 1. The conical head of the screw has two bumps that should be placed inside the gaps of the miter clamp to prevent it from rotating. When the bumps are in the gaps of the miter clamp, the head of the screw will be slightly recessed. If the head of the screw is flush with the miter clamp, they are not properly aligned. 2. If the miter clamp is moving in the slot or the body of the Hedgehog is rotating too much, simply tighten the knob a bit more. Since the Hedgehog only has a single knob, it requires a bit more force to tighten than that required with traditional featherboards that have two knobs. There are extra images of the correct screw position in the product images but you have to double click on one of the images for them to appear as part of the slideshow.
Question:	The hedgehog is rotating in the video, why
Answer:	That's the way it's designed! It has a single knob so the Hedgehog's spiral shape allows it to be quickly and simply adjusted to accommodate the board's width by rotating it into position.
Question:	I just received this item and it wont expand into the miter slot and hold tight. It's a 3/4 inch slot, what's the problem
Answer:	1. Ensure that the tabs on the head of the screw are aligned with the slots in the miter clamp. The head of the screw will be recessed into the miter clamp when it's correct. See product images for more details. 2. Some miter slots are extra wide. If that is the case, it can be helpful to disassemble the Hedgehog components, insert the tip of a flat screwdriver into the miter clamp slot and twist it some to expand the clamp. It doesn't take much. Reassemble the Hedgehog as it was originally (washer goes between knob and body of Hedgehog).

Question:	Does this work fine on aDW
Answer:	I put a Dado stack on my DW745 all the time. Accualy most of the time. Yes the arbor isn't long like others, so you're unable to fit the whole stack but i put almost a 1/2" stack and it fits perfectly without the washer and just the bolt to tighten it. But anything less than 1/2" stack, you're able to fit the washer and bolt on the arbor with the stack for tightening. hope that helped with the second part. So others say Yes it fits and i say Yes your able to put up to a certain thickness of a dado stack in ur dw745 from daily personal experience. the DW745 was my first and only table saw i've had and i'm going 2yrs strong beating the hell out of it.

Answer:	I am going answer your question by asking a question. How much do you know about sawing wood? How much do you know about how a table saw works? You asked this question and I fear for your safety. Quick answer, yes a throat plate on any saw with dado blades is a requirement if you value your fingers or eyes. The intent of a throat plate on a saw is to insure a level, smooth surface whilst the blade (along with the motor) does the job of spinning the blade to cut the wood. I'm moy pm
Question:	How large of a dado does this plate support? Some people have complained about plates that only support 3/8" dadoes when the saw itself can use
Answer:	the plate it self is able to cut up to 13/16''. that's not the problem, the problem is the arbor that supports the blades are not long enough. So check your saw to see if the length of the arbor will hold 3/4 dados. Hope this helps
Question:	What is the difference between the DeWalt 7480 and DeWalt 7490 tablesaw to see if the DWE7402DI throatplate will work
Answer:	My research found that..."The DEWALT DWE7402DI Dado Throatplate for 10" Portable Table Saw allows for use of stacked dado cutters. This insert is designed to be used with DWE7490 and DWE7491 Table saw versions." Seems to me that the older model throat plate would fit the 7480's, and this one will fit the 7490's.

Question:	Will these clamps fit in a regular T-track
Answer:	No it does not! At Least the T-track sold by Rockler. The dimensions of the clamp bar is 0.45 wide by 0.21 deep.
Question:	Can someone measure the width and thickness of the part that slides into the track? I'm planning to use these on a Bosch tracksaw
Answer:	11.75mm wide (0.46") and 5.62mm thick (0.225") Nominally 7/16" wide and 7/32" thick. I don't know about Bosch, but they do work on my Festool track.
Question:	Will these work with the Kreg Accu-cut
Answer:	I have used mine with the Kreg Accu-cut without issue.
Question:	Will these work with the 55 inch Festool track? If so how much slack is there
Answer:	Just to expand on the previous answer - I have both these (DeWalt) Clamps and the Festool Quick Clamps and actually prefer the DeWalt clamps for securing my Festool Track to whatever material I'm cutting. The DeWalt clamps are just quicker and easier to use when working on the underside of the track. The (comparably) great price doesn't hurt either.
