Answer:	Yes, this can grind a variety of coffee beans and spices including salt.

Answer:	If I fill it up to the top of the coffee beans holder, the catching basket overflows. So your upper limit is controlled by the basket. If you grind a full basket I can use 2/3rd of the coffee to make my 4 cups Expresso machine. The other third is set aside for the next time.If you have a large Coffee pot you can just grind multiple times to achieve your desired amount.
Question:	Are these bits stepped down to fit a 3/8" chuck
Answer:	Made in China. Works fine for this style of grinder, not as good as the more expensive burr grinders, but adequate for me.
