Answer: It is big enough to cover one side of the knee but is not as sturdy as some I have used in the past. The flocked layer which is supposed to make it more comfortable near the skin came off mine before I even used it. An older Theramed was wonderful but began to leak after 10+ years of use. If you are having a knee replacement I would recommend using an electric pump which is provided by the hospital and mine was covered by insurance. Good luck.
