| Answer: | I've used it on metal. It works, but wears them down quickly. There may be other types of abrasives better with metal than aluminum oxide. If you're working on any kind of iron or steel, it will make lots of sparks, so clean up any sawdust you might have lying around before you start and do not use a vacuum or other dust collection system while sanding metal with it, or it will suck up the sparks and lead to a fire in the collector (don't bother to ask how I know this). |
