Question:	Could i put a k-cup in this? Or would i be able to dump one in it and it do ok
Answer:	You cannot put a k-cup in this. I have never dump a k-cup in it so I cannot tell how it would do.
Question:	If you don't use the clock, can this coffee maker be operated without any vision? Is the on/off switch a physical switch/button, not a touch panel
Answer:	The on/off switch is a button located on the right side of the coffee pot. The clock switch is on the left of the pot. Both buttons make a clicking sound when they are pressed and both can be operated independently of the other. I don’t use the clock feature, either, and since I am an early riser, I usually turn the pot on when there is very little to no light in the room. Hope this answers your question.
Question:	What are the dimensions of this coffee maker? I want it for my camper and it has to fit into a small cabinet
Answer:	App. 10-1/4” tall; depth 8”; width 6-1/2”, without carafe sitting in coffee pot. Handle protrudes beyond the unit.
Question:	can I use paper filters? If so, what size
Answer:	Yes. I buy Melitta filters for 4-cup coffee makers. (Package also states, for 4-6 cup coffee makers.) 200 filters come in a pack. The larger Target stores by me sell this size, and they fit perfectly in the Capresso 5-cup coffee maker. (Target also sells the larger size Melitta filters for larger coffee makers.}

Answer:	no there is no backlight for the clock
Question:	can you make flavored coffee in this pot
Answer:	Wife likes the Mr. Coffee (highest rated only) but is also selective in coffee similar to Seattle's Best blended flavor.The performances of all Mr. Coffee (high rated) has been good but there has been occasion leaks.Wife brews 8 cups but only used two usually. However she mixed a creamer always with her coffee thatdoes not give us a true evaluation of this pot's capabilities to put out a quality brew.
Question:	Does it smell like plastic
Answer:	Yes, it has an overwhelming smell of cheap plastic. We sent it back and got a refund!
Question:	According to Folgers, for best result, the recommended brewing temperature is 195*F to 205*F, what is the brewing temperature of this unit
Answer:	I didn't know and the owner's manual didn't say so I took the temperature just after it concluded its brewing cycle. The temperature was 173 degrees. I use my coffee maker to brew tea and it works fine. Hope this helps.

Question:	Can this use a standard (8-12 cup) paper basket filter? (Not using the permanent filter
Answer:	Yes. I use one of those paper filters myself. But here's the thing you need to know: the system requires you to set the permanent filter in first or the coffee won't drip down. The paper filter doesn't fit in neatly, but once I fill it with my usual 4 scoops of coffee, it sits down in the permanent filter. This pot is ideal for someone who only wants one mug at a time and isn't interested in spending big bucks on a fancy drip system.
