Question:	Is it possible to use this kit with material thicker than 1-1/2 inches? I ask because the site offers spacer blocks for user with "thicker" material. It would be nice to use the kit on 2x4s for example
Answer:	The "deflector plate" is actually a gravity operated "heel" that simply drops down and hooks on the material you are pushing. There's considerable grip in the rubber pad portion of the push block, but when you reach the end of a board or similar, the heel drops down and catches on the edge of wood, permitting easy/secure push through of the wood.
Question:	how would i get a long piece of wood to position in the clamp, like an 8ft 2x4? I see short pieces stand up in the jig, would a long board be flimsy

Answer:	I don't have the Bench Dogs push pad but I do own 2 of these Gripper pads as well as several "plain" push pads. In my experience, the GRR-Rip Block is different in 2 ways. The Gripper has 4 "heel hooks" that hang over the edge of your work piece to get a better push on the end stock. And it can also be used on its edge (it have been formed with a 90 degree angle) so you can push stock on a router table or to stabilize wood while re-sawing on a band saw (and this is where those hooks really help). But the price of the Gripper is 2-1/2 times the Bench Dog, so the question would be: is the GRR-Rip Blockr twice as good as the Bench Dog. And I would probably say no to that. But the ultimate decision is of course yours. Hope this helped.

Answer:	I know the 3 bottles are misleading. No, you only get one bottle. It is best to only buy one bottle, since the nature of the supplement is liquid, and it needs to be kept in the fridge once opened. It has been my life saver since I didn't what else to buy for my dog's arthritis. She was borne on October 2002, so she will be celebrating her sweet 16 in a few months. I have purchased all kinds of supplements, tried everything, she ends up refusing to take them, no bribe or goodie will do the deed. So far this has done the trick. Answer:	If I"m understanding your question correctly and that is a big if, I would practice on a scrap piece of wood of similar thickness taking into consideration where the head would be if it were still on the jig.

Question:	Does this work on particle board
Answer:	For boards it will work well. If you are cutting sheet goods I would still recommend a cross cut sled, all depending on width and length of course. I isn't designed to hold board tight but its more of a stop for many cuts the same size. There is a little play in the stop, so it is not perfect, but it is workable.
Question:	Doing small - medium sized DIY projects, what is the best jig for me? This one, the Kreg R3 Jr. or

1.Measure the wood you’re using.

2.Set the depth on your jig（The scale indicated by the arrow on the jig is the same as the thickness measured by wood）.

3.set your drill bit collar to the correct depth (In the depth mark on the drill bit, find the same value as the thickness of the wood or the number indicated by the arrow on the jig, and fix the depth collar on this value).

4.clamp the wood into the jig.

5. Turn on the electric drill and start drilling(reminder: can't hold the drill against the wood and turn on the electric drill. When the electric drill reaches a certain speed, it can starts drilling, slow first and then fast).
