Question:	How to get pliers open
Answer:	Hi. We discovered that certain metal parts cannot be washed in a dishwasher, and they release the dark grey coating when in contact with dishwashing pads. Once you wash them by hand, the coating will be gone. You can use a rough sponge and baking soda to get that stuff of the parts
Question:	What is the material of multitool
Answer:	My Bosch is the Universal model MUM6621UC (taken from bottom of machine), not a compact model. This works well with my Bosch, as well as the one I had before, purchased in the early 1980's: my daughter is still using the older model. I purchased the meat grinder in the 80's and it fits the newer model I have now. I don't know if it would work on the newest models of Bosch.
