Answer:	My experience is no- I carry mine with me almost everywhere because it's my favorite knife. The light comes away from the knife simply by pulling on it- you can see inside there is a metal plate for the magnet to "grab" onto. In all my use of it I have not had the light come away from the knife without me taking it off.

Answer:	Duracell's model # for this battery is 377/376. BTW -- there's got to be an easier way to replace the batteries. The magnetized base forded me to use a thin screwdriver and paperclip to make the batteries seat flat. Also, I just figured out that the flashlight actually pulls out of the handle and has a magnetic base. The base will let you "stick" the light to a metallic surface. Very neat.

Answer:	Not that i know of. You need to twist the head on in order to turn it on.

Answer:	It should clip to a dog collar just fine. The caribeaner is a mini measure 1 1/2 inches from outside bottom to top, and the gate opening is about 5/8 inches. It clips to the molle strap on my pack with no trouble at all. The light is well worth the money, its durable and bright.

Answer:	Package says 1 meter for 30 minutes

Answer:	It's quite a bright light, but it's not focused, like a typical flashlight. Better for being seen in the dark than for helping you see. I'd say 6 meters is pretty accurate for how far it illuminates, but it's visible from much further away.

Answer:	I have had 2 and both quit working after a couple of uses. Put in new batteries but that is not the problem. Wish I know why they won't work???

Answer:	I've had it for a while, so I don't remember if it came with any. But the flashlight is pretty self explanatory. There are 3 light settings, a high, low and a stobe. the glass breaker on the side, and some small tools that pull out at the top end.

Answer:	Clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. If that doesn't do it, try a different set of fresh batteries. I prefer the rechargeable batteries, as they not only last longer (up to 200 recharges, or 4 years, each), but they also do not leak battery acid. Leaked acid can permanently corrode contacts, and the off-gassing from those same batteries as they leak can also destroy small circuit boards. If battery acid has leaked inside your wonderful multitool, then a very light rinse of baking soda and water, followed by a light-soapy water mix, and a very thorough drying. Drying after such a cleanup should take at least a few days, preferably sitting in or near sunshine. If you live in a very wet climate, then immerse the drying electronics in a 5lb bag of dried white rice (not wheat, as that tends to hold moisture). Bonus: this latter method works for cellphones that have been soaked, even drowned too!
