Question:	Is this knife legal to carry concealed in California
Answer:	As of May 2020, yes these are legal to carry in California, and as far as I know, in all counties and jurisdictions (due to its blade length). However, because it is a fixed blade, it meets the definition of dirks and daggers. Dirks and daggers of any length must be worn sheathed and in open, plain-view. Under no circumstances may this knife be carried concealed in the state of California.

Answer:	The handle does stick up funny when I bend over,(which was expected when I bought it) but I don't wear it where I draw across. I wear it towards the back, cause I'm quite slim but it still works out!

To disassemble the Homefront Tanto when the knife is in the closed position, push the front release lever away from the blade, then spin the turn release wheel on the rear of the handle away from the pivot shaft—once you feel the handle release, pull it up and away from the blade. How Field Strip Works



Field Strip Technology lets you easily disassemble your knife for cleaning without tools. To disassemble, close the knife, push the front release lever up. Then spin the rear release wheel clockwise —once you feel the handle release, pull it up and away. Handles and blade come apart easily. To bring the knife back together, place the blade and handles into the closed position - press and hold the pivot. Once the pivot is seated correctly, rotate the release wheel counter-clockwise until snug. Push front lever down. The knife is restored to full working order.

Answer:	This is not the "elite" model, just the regular Seal Pup.

Answer:	My sheath is a Molle design. You can attach it to other gear that is Molle designed depending on the direction of the lacing. I am not sure about the kydex sheath and how it works as I was sent a nylon version. The nylon sheath is very good for what it is. From reviews I have read there are some who were sent nylon sheaths that not made very well and were not Molle designed which would not allow you to mount horizontally. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have used a K-Bar and I also still have my original Camillus (Ontario) issued knife from the US Navy. The SOG is an excellent knife for general purpose. It really comes down to two things: 1/ What will you be doing with it. 2/ Do you personally like it. I would advise that you get the unserrated version. No matter though as the knife will serve you well. Very sharp right out of the box as well! I use my SOG as a backup knife. The K-bar is slightly larger and is more designed to be used for personal defense as well as survival. I would not use the SOG for battoning. Either choice would not be a mistake. Hope this helps!
Question:	Is this an AUS 8 stainless steel blade
Answer:	Yes it is full tang. There seems to be a debate though over the type of steel used. According to my research this particular knife uses AUS-6 rather than AUS-8. The SOG Seal Put that does not use the designation 37N and non-serrated edge uses the AUS-8 steel. No matter, this knife has found a purpose in use. Great mid sized fixed blade for general overall use. I intend to get the straight edged Seal Pup as well. Good luck!
