Question:	Is there a warranty on this
Answer:	It can hold a lot of small things, but not suggested hold too many heavy things, after all, the product is not very big. At least I can hold about 20 pens and it won't slide down. so convenient pen holder.

Answer:	It will set flat on a desk, but without the magnet to support it, not sure how steady it will be. It might fall over when filled with pens. I have a metal vertical file tray on my desk, and attach it to that via the magnet. That way it is very sturdy.

Answer:	The flat part with the magnet is 3-1/4" long. From front to back it is about 1-1/8" wide. From top to bottom it is 4" tall.

Answer:	I don't think it would. I will hold 12 regular pens, and about 8 regular sharpie sized pens.

Question:	What number on the ratchet setting do i use for #6 awg i tried the 6mm but leaves wings
Answer:	The rotating die has numbers 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, and 1/0 stamped into it. Rotate the dies so that the wire/crimp size you're working with is visible at the end away from the handle.
Question:	Can the cutters cut through 1/0 ga like butter? i have some tinned ofc power wire that is stubborn to cut through
Answer:	Look up cable sizes. 1/0 would be larger than 1awg. After 1awg, its like the numbers go backwards going up in size because 1/0 denotes "0". 2/0 would be 00. 3/0 would be 000, and so on. 3/0, or 000, is larger than 2/0, or 00.
Question:	How to you know which ratchet setting to use on what gauge wire? Do you use the upper number
Answer:	It comes with a few different sizes

Answer:	I don't think they would fit. But honestly I never tried. That said it is a great tool for making up large cable ends.

Answer:	Probably not unless they are huge. This is for AC and Hydraulic lines. No inserts are small like 1/4” or 3/16”.
Question:	Will it work for hybraulic lines on my tractor
Answer:	I'm not sure if it would crimp high pressure hydraulic fittings. This works good for ac and power steering hose but they are lighter fittings. We had a manual press set up to make them for our farm equipment and it takes some hard cranking for them to crimp properly.

Answer:	Yes, I used this for repair hose hydraulic and air conditioning automotive, and work very well...

Answer:	I think it would work. I've used it with a variety of materials, usually directly on top of a wooden table. I have not had any problems. There may be the possibility that over prolonged use it could discolor the wood, but using one for weeks at a time has done nothing to my table or to any of my tanks or tubs. It produces a nice gentle heat and I highly recommend it! (Using for baby parrots and hedgehogs.)

Step 1

Before notching, the cable must be stripped according to the insertion length(+10% due to change in length of the cable lugs.)

Step 2

Push the buttom and roll the jaw to adjust the crimping jaws according to lug size. The Jaw's size is symbolized by the AWG number in the top of the jaw.

Step 3

Insert the cable into the cable lug to its full insertion length and squeeze the handles.

Finished the cable connection and check.

Question:	can you crimp a plastic coil with regular pliers
Answer:	You can use a needle nose pliers if it has a cutting blade at the base, but it is not as easy to do. The crimper pliers let you cut and crimp (bend it to prevent the coil from coming out of the document) in one motion. Thank you for your interest.

Answer:	I have not attempted to cut a fish hook, but I have used the cutter to cut through some pretty heavy (10gage) copper wire and some steel nails. Since the jaws are made of heat-treated carbon steel, the cutters should be able to handle fishing hooks, although I wouldn't try to cut the really large hooks. Carbon steel means that the cutters will rust in a salt environment (ocean/surf fishing) so you will want to keep them cleaned and well-lubed at all times.

Answer:	What do you mean too much? They are really inexpensive and will EASILY clip strings.

Question:	Can i crimp 1/8 cable
Answer:	No, The smallest you can crimp is 8 AWG ( 0.1285 ) I was trying to crimp 1/8 steel cable for decking and the cable and crimp slides right through the smallest die. However, rater than send it back, I flipped the small die over and drilled a hole in between that was smaller; so that's an option
Question:	is this able to be used with copper and aluminum
Answer:	Yes it is, practice on a few ends first to make sure you have the right die. The real purpose of a hydraulic crimping tool is to ensure that the crimped end compresses all the copper wires into a solid end not allowing air into the end which leads to corrosion.
Question:	Can this be used on stainless steel control cables/wire rope instead of electrical applications? Can I use a stainless steel button end
Answer:	It work well for lead and metal battery cable ends. I have not tried stainless ends.
Question:	What is the widest the dies can open? Want to compress a dual ferrule (oval or figure 8 shape) but need to know how wide this opens
Answer:	I used it for 00 gauge wire crimping ends. Smallest die fits standard 4 gauge wire for auto battery.

Question:	Can this tool crimp a solid #6 wire to a 5/8 ground rod
Answer:	Not sure, but I bought mine through the seller "Super buy". There was a non-critical part missing (the spring & ball bearing to keep the pin that holds the dies in place) & they promptly offered to refunded me a few bucks rather than deal with it. I'm quite satisfied with that for a non-critical issue. I'll either live with it, or eventually drill out the hole the pin & bearing fit in & use a cotter pin.
Question:	Will you post a conversion chart showing die sizes in awg; american wire guage
Answer:	The dies do not go that small. To crimp #8 and #6 wire I put two larger dies in backwards, tightened them and drilled a hole between the back side of the two dies for the correct size. This was easy to do and worked well. I assume you can do the same thing for your air hose need. It may take a little experimenting. Good luck

Answer:	Yes. When I use it I just hold the terminal in the right position with my left hand and strick the punch with the hammer in my right hand. It works pretty well in my opinion.

Answer:	Yes. I have used this for 4/0, 2/0, and 2 AWG wire and it worked great.

Answer:	Hi and thank you for your question. These are not hollow shaft and we do not offer a hollow shaft insulated nut driver.

Answer:	No they are not double insulated. They would be more expensive if they were. However they work well for protection from shorts or arcs within their voltage range.
