Question:	What material are the fence and table made out of
Answer:	I am 99% certan that the tables are cast aluminum, and the fence is aluminum. The weight, color and feel make this pretty evident. If it were cast iron it would weigh twice as much and be prone to rust. This jointer is as good functionally as any other. But because of its light weight it must be secured to a stable heavy base. It also needs a bit more tuning than other models. But if you are going to own any precision tools that is something you should become capable of.

Question:	Is it Compatible to Makita trim router rt
Answer:	Their technical documents show an RT0701C being used in the table, which I believe is identical to the rt0700, but I’m not positive the mount holes are spaced the same. Don’t know why they would not be, so I’d feel comfortable saying it is compatible.
Question:	Is tear out a problem with this jig
Answer:	It’s not really a jig as much as it is a fully functional, albeit, small router table. However, just like with any router, if you put a sacrificial piece behind the project piece tear out is virtually eliminated.

Answer:	I have the Skil 900 Router table along with the Skill Router. I had to purchase a new router ecosystem because my Skil Router would no longer hold it's depth settings. so I purchased the Bosch 1617 EVSPK Router Combo Kit and the Bosch Router Table RA1181with an additional Fixed base. When I was taking the Skil router table down I noticed a label on it which said Robert Bosch Company. My skil table quick release wasn't compatible with the Bosch Fixed base otherwise I probably would have used my Skil Router Table. I will say the Bosch Router table 1181 is much nicer. The MDF platform was ok except dust go in on the plastic edges and the edges separated from the table slightly. I'm a very light DIY type of person. If my Skil Router had a more robust/accurate depth guide I probably would still be using it.

Answer:	Yes, the router is designed to work with 120v, the router table has a on off switch which will need to be plug into a 110 outlet, when the router is inserted into the table , it is plugged into the outlet on the table, using voltage greater than 120v will burnout the brushes in your router.

Question:	Has anyone tried planning off paint on cedar with this machine? I have hundreds of feet to recycle
Answer:	yes. I've removed paint and finish with this.. not on cedar, but on mahogany and oak. However, do keep in mind that this will greatly impact the working life of the blades. But that's a small price to pay for such convenience. I say go for it. You'll love the result and it sure beats sanding or scraping with a card scraper.
Question:	Can the in-feed and out-feed rollers or carriage lock be adjusted to reduce snipe
Answer:	Make the last or final pass a very minimul cut depth ie. 1/64. This helps with snipe. The bigger the cut, the more snipe you will get. Make sure the material is support flat against the table as it begins the cut, and on the exit table as well. The pressure rollers tend to make the board 'tip' as it enters and exits (this is typical in any planer, even the big industrial ones found in mill houses). As far as waxing the tables, i much prefer to use a table top silicon type lube usually sold in spray cans at your local wood supply. These leave a non build moisture resistant film that will not only make the table very slick, but leave no waxy residue that can transfer to your lumber and cause finishing issues. Wax that transfers to your lumber can act as a release agent when applying typical lacquer base or poly type finishes. Last but not least, some snipe is considered acceptable from any planer. It's just the way it is. Always start with a board thats a few inches longer than finish length and plan on cutting off the ends. These little planers are better than most, but you can never plan on not haveing some snipe.
Question:	My first project with this will be planing 8"-10" wide Jatoba planks. How many linear feet can I expect to get out of one set of knives
Answer:	i really can not tell you , i still running my first set of knives and i have ran many hundred of feet thru , and they still run great we run oak, pine ,maple ,ash, walnut, beech , lot of oak &ash

Answer:	I'm a hobbyist and have had the DW734 for about a year now. Most of my planning had been hardwoods, Maple, Cherry, Walnut and some Purple Heart. None of them have had complicated figure. The widest board I've run through the machine was about a 9" glue up. I've gotten very good results and virtually no tear out. For my purposes an extra 1/2" in width and 2 speeds wouldn't make any difference in my projects. For me, this was a great buy. Depending on your needs, your results may var :)

Answer:	No.. the mounting plate is not pre-drilled for any specific router.. it does however have a centering template pre-printed on the mounting plate that makes laying out the specific Router holes quick, easy and accurate.. just follow the directions and make sure to use a backer board to prevent tear-out on the mounting plate when drilling the holes.

Answer:	Yes.. 1-2 Horse Power should fit. The mount is universal fit for the router.. Contact Kreg for dimensions.
Question:	Does the kreg prs2100 bench top router table with the accessories include a starter pin for curved cuts? is it easy to buy/install one if not
Answer:	It does include a starter pin. It is easily installed and removed. I am not sure if it is easily purchased. FWIW I did have to contact Kreg customer service for a part that was missing and they expedited the part to me. They were very responsive and knowledgable about the product.
Question:	Does this fit a DeWalt router
Answer:	Yes I installed a DeWalt router into mine. You drill your own holes into the mounting plate so pretty much any router will work.

Answer:	Hi Jacob. I don't know what is included with the Kreg router table. Amazon prime shipped it several days late. When I finally got it UPS had beat it to a pulp. Amazon said they couldn't replace it even though they had 14 still listed. Then I was told I had to pay for a return shipping slip because I didn't have a printer. Sorry, what you see may not be what you're going to get. Good luck.

Answer:	I don't see why not it's only about 2and1-2inches tall.
Question:	is compatible whit Wen 4208 8 in
Answer:	No it is too big for the table on the 4208. I purchased both and ended up returning this. As far as height it will fit but the slots to bolt it on hang over the edges. Could possibly clamp it somehow. If turned diagonally you can line up for 2 bolts to go through but it wouldn’t be very functional to line up with the bit.
Question:	Do you think this is rigid enough for a milling machine
Answer:	For milling small parts you should be ok.
