Question:	Is it supposed to be installed over or under the drywall
Answer:	Box mounts between studs. Install drywall flush with edges of box. You should have a smooth seam between drywall and box to tile over.
Question:	What kind of adhesive is required to adhere tiles to this? The surface seems too smooth for mortar to adhere to. Thanks
Answer:	Personally I applied a coat of red guard to waterproof the entire area, niche included. Thereafter I used a polymer modified mortar. Adhesion is very strong for tile, even natural stone such as white marble (using a white drying mortar)
Question:	Does the sheet rock cover the edges or just come up to the edge
Answer:	The sheet rock comes up to the edge and they use 100% waterproof silicone to seal the joint.
Question:	Is the measurement for inside or outside the niche? Thanks
Answer:	Redi Niche has Spec sheets available on their website. Here is the link for it, if it will open: https://www.tileredi.com/pdf/Spec_RN1620D-BI_20120812.pdf. But the quick answer is that the measurements are for the outside of the whole box. The inside dimensions are less. The spec sheet has a diagram with the exact measurements. I have installed this unit and am in the process of tiling as of this weekend.

Answer:	We installed on a wall. Not sure I can vouch for slipping but it is not glossy. My husband says he would not recommend it for a floor. Be better to have a rough surface. These are smooth. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No. Porcelain tiles does not need to be sealed.

Answer:	Yes, the mesh is easy to cut but be aware... squares are very fragile and many were very broken and chipped when they arrived to me. We could only use about a sixth of them. Im just saying. Good luck to you with that.

Recommended Surfaces for Peel and Stick Smart Tiles

There are some surfaces that are not suitable for installing peel and stick Smart Tiles on and which may even prevent the tiles from sticking on the wall or backsplash. This is why it’s important to be careful when choosing the type of surface before the installation.

1. Clean your wall

First, wash the surface with a powerful grease-remover such as TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). Make sure you allow enough time for the surface to dry properly.

2. Trace your Guidelines

Using a level or chalk line, trace a guideline to ensure perfect alignment using a Mosaïk to mark the height. If you are facing an uneven counter, mark the height of your guideline on the lowest side of the counter.

3. Measure and cut

Measure with a ruler and report it on the tile. Using a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing will let you easily cut a hole or other shapes within the tiles more accurately.

4. Peel and stick

Simply fold back half of the protective paper in the back without touching the adhesive portion with your fingers. Now align the adhesive portion with your guideline and apply a light pressure.
