Answer:	I find those expensive boar bristle brushes good for chalk style paints only if you're after that deeply textured brush stroke look. I'm not a fan of that look. I use the Rustoleum Chalked Paints quite frequently and by far, my favorite brush is the Wooster foam brush. It looks alot like the super cheap foam brushes, but it leaves an incredibly smooth surface and can be washed and reused over and over. If you want a more traditional brush, go with a mid-road synthetic like the Wooster short cut (I swear I don't work for wooster). I also dilute this paint and spray it in an HVLP sprayer for large projects, and it works beautifully!

Clean & Prep

Remove any hardware, wash surface with soap and water and let dry. Remove any loose paint or rust and lightly sand glossy surfaces for better adhesion. Primer is not required for most surfaces, but recommended for bare wood or wood high in tannins such as redwood, mahogany and fir.

Brush On

If primer is used, wait 2 hours before applying finish. Stir thoroughly to re-disperse any settled pigment. Use a high quality synthetic brush to apply light even brush strokes. For each coat applied, allow 2 hours before next coat.

Top Coat

Once last coat dries for at least 8 hours, apply topcoat for extra protection. Apply 1-2 light even coats, waiting 2 hours between coats.

Answer:	1. I don't think this is the right paint for aluminum or at a minimum, you will need a special "aluminum primer" paint (I think Rust-Oleum makes it). 2. I think for a boat that will stay in the water for much more than a typical 12 hour day each time it is used, you need professional equipment and paint to do the job, probably best left for marine shop.
Question:	can u paint a car whith this paint
Answer:	Yes! I've used the white and Oyster White, both successfully. The Oyster White is the closest match you can get to Old English White. The benefit of Topside is the UV protection. Be sure to cut the paint. I did 1 part paint, 3/4 part mineral spirits, and 1/4 part Penetrol (found at Home Depot, used to help the paint lay flatter). I applied the paint with a high density roller and foam brushes where the roller couldn't fit. Two coats, then wet sand with 600 wet/dry paper to remove Orange peel. Two coats, then sand with 800. Then two coats and wet sand with 1000. Two coats then wet sand with 1500. Two coats then wet sand with 2000. A lot of work, but worth the savings IMO. Good luck!There should be a picture of my car in the review section. This was my first attempt at it. I very recently used the Oyster White and others have been HIGHLY impressed.

Answer:	Yes, according to directions on the container. Reduce with 10-15% xylene. Let dry 24 hours. Sand with #220 between coats.

Wood stain can look quite different when applied to different wood species and even the same species which have veins of wood a different shade. Short story it is a bit of trial and error so be patient.
