Answer:	You will need to be more specific about what your intended usage will be. Focusrite primarily makes computer interfaces and preamps while the Xenyx 1002 is a mixer with integrated preamps. I have no experience with Focusrite but I can say that the Behringer mic preamps are decent and, at its price point, is a good value in a mixer.

Answer:	The aux plays the signal straight out. None of the knobs or functions, including volume, affect what's played through it. It's useful for playing backing tracks to jam to, just remember to adjust the volume on the playback device. I play YouTube videos on my phone through this.

Answer:	Yes, you'd need to adapt your PC from 1/8th inch to 1/4 inch. You'd also need to do the same on the headphones and the phone. The downside is this will only pass mono (either left or right) through it, so you'd need to combine the left/right channels prior to coming into the mixer.Essentially the mixer is designed for things that don't have left AND right, something like a guitar, it is just one signal.

Answer:	Yes. You can use a Male-1/4-inch-to-Female-1/8-inch Adapter to plug into a mixer output. Use its 1/4" ("Phone" plug) outputs (Control Room Out, Main Out or, Phones). This adapter is a short stubby thing, fairly available. I got two at Amazon for $10.00. Connect an Aux cable to this Adapter. The other end of the cable (iPad end) goes to a Female-TRS-to-Male-TRRS adapter. I got one at Amazon for around $12.00. It's about 6" long. To later listen to your ipad recording through its audio output port, you'll need to unplug the TRS to TRRS adapter from the ipad. Or play it wirelessly through wifi or bluetooth. I haven't tried this last option since I JUST got the mixer.

Question:	Can I take the speaker with me outside without the cord and listen to music
Answer:	this depends upon what you're trying to do. I'm going to assume you do not have many inputs in your "behringer mixer" or you would just plug your shure mics directly into it. if i'm correct, and that's why you're interested in the mx400, then yes: you would plug your mics into the mx400, then take the output of the mx400 and plug into your other mixer. note: if you do not need the tone control functionality of your existing behringer mixer, then you can take the mx400 output directly into your map. note#2: the mx400 only has 1/4" input jacks. so if your mic cables end with XLR connectors, you would need adapters (which cost more than the mx400!). You'd be better off getting a next level up main mixer. note#3: I use the mx400 for guitars, so I can then take the mx400 output right into an amp w/out the usual thing of unplugging cables. good luck!

Answer:	Most cctv mics requires 12v and have BNC or RCA plugs on them. This unit takes 1/4" plug inputs and does not provide 12v. So, to use it with cctv mics you'll need an adepter to convert the BNC or RCA plugs to 1/4" and provide some way to get 12v to the mics.

It is important to note that we rate these with the strictest power rating formulas. There are speakers on the market that write 3,000 watts.
