Question:	can i turn them on and off manually
Answer:	The light is on all the time day and night even no motion detected. I changed the batteries with a new one and still the same.

Answer:	Only used them on 2 camping trips. Good light and respond well to movement. Probably been tripped 20 to 30 times so don't have a real feel for how long batteries last. I wish they had an on off switch in windy situations just flags or brush moving will set them off. I do believe there is a model that has one as well as variable timing but I all ready purchased these. The next test is how they hold up in inclement weather at our hunting camp.

Answer:	The batteries are inserted thru the front of the main unit and the main unit can be removed from the mount with a turn screw. So turn the base locking screw and the main light unit can be taken off its base mount. Then twist the front bezel and take off. Then you can insert the new batteries. Depending how high you mount it, it should literally just take a couple of minutes to change.

Answer:	Orange LEDs have no blue but they do have green. While green is not nearly as disruptive as blue is still has a repressive effect on melatonin. It is small but significant if you have a one in a bedroom. The green component of orange light also interferes with night vision. The safest thing to do is to do red after bed!
