Question:	I am not getting a 3D visual of any kind what could I be doing wrong
Answer:	NO!!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!! This can only be used with ceramic, metal, or other heat proof cups. There is a warning on the slip in the box that states this. It has 3 heat settings and even on the coolest (lukewarm at best), I wouldn't place a plastic cup of any kind on it. This is one of the best coffee warmers I've ever owned. I can even keep my soup hot on it on the highest setting.

Answer:	Not sure what you mean auto on. Much like a Nespresso frother,you set it on the base and push the button. It turns off when done
