WHAT IS COLOR RENDERING INDEX(CRI)?

Color rendering describes how a light source makes the color of an object appear to human eyes and how well subtle variations in color shades are revealed. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a scale from 0 to 100 percent indicating how accurate a "given" light source is at rendering color when compared to a "reference" light source.

User questions & answers

Question:	Does it use 220volt
Answer:	Yes. It works on AC voltages from 100v to 220v.
Question:	Problem with the sensor switch: my lamp turns on / off randomly. It happens without me touching the switch. Is there a remedy or needs to be returned
Answer:	Worked well for 3 months, after that it starts to turn off randomly. I also noticed on/off switch panel gets too hot to touch. After a year it completely stopped working. I would not buy or recommend this lamp.
Question:	Can the mounting bracket be removed so there is just the tubular stem so as to mount it to monitor stand, currently the mounting clamp is in the way
Answer:	Yes, you have to scrap off the protective pad first, then under the pad there are 6 screws holding the base to the tubular bar. If you decide later to use the clamp again you will just have to get an adhesive pad to replace the one you scratched off to access the screws. I did it the other day, took 10 minutes max. Then I zipped tied the tubular bar to my computer stand holding my twin monitors, looks great.
Question:	How much space do I need from my desk to the wall for clearance
Answer:	If your desk top is flat and level, you need not leave any clearance between the desk and wall, however, since my drawing table is slanted, I would need probably 1 1/2 to 2 inches and that causes the bottom of the clamp to slant as well. It's a great lamp, and the best lighting I've ever had.

Question:	How many light strips can you plug back to back? Can I plug in 3 strips back to back
Answer:	Do yourself a favor and get the LED clips ( icreating sells a 200 packs for under $10 ) had my lights put up with a adhesive fall down 3 times before I got these . Never a problem since and they are so tiny you don't see them
Question:	Are each one 32 feet
Answer:	The kit contains two strands of 16 ft each that no longer connect together but can now only each connect directly into the transformer. They've changed the product in late 2019 to longer connect into one 32 ft strand. You now have the added expense/trouble to track down generic electronic connectors if you still want one 32 ft stands
Question:	Do they work with Alexa
Answer:	Yes they could if you buy the smart plug for Alexa. Connect the cord from the led lights into the Alexa Smart Plug and plug it into the wall, then it should work when you call out to Alexa. Sorry if I’m late. But I think that should work. 😁👍
Question:	If i buy 2 will i be able to connect both of them
Answer:	So I bought 2 orders and linked 2 16 RGB lights to each connection. So 32ft on each power connection and the output power is not enough. The led strips are bright at the connection side but at the tail end side they dont have enough power to light the whole strip.

Installation Guide

Warming tips:

• Please clean the surface before stick on the strip and make sure that the paste is successful by one time, otherwise, the stickiness will become weak after repeated use, and you need to add back glue again
• Please don't stick the lights to the metal surface that conductive, it may cause a short-circuit on the strip lights
• Don't let them on the spool when you testing them for more than 2 minutes, they need to dissipating heat
• The ventilation must be ensured, these lights need an excessive amount of airflow for cooling

Connection tips

Please notice to connect the 4pin connectors of the controller box arrow to the positive of lights; If not, it will don't work.

Test the lights before installation

Please confirm your connection is correct, below is some steps need to notice:

• Connect the 4pin connectors of the controller box arrow to the positive of lights.
• Make sure the lights are connected, and the power light up green bulb.
• Pull out the transparent chip from the button of the IR remote.
• Use the IR remote turn on the lights (IR remote aim at the IR receiver).

DIY function

About DIY function, Please follow the steps below：

Step 1: Turn on the lights. Press one of the RGB buttons. Step 2: Press the DIY1 button (the lights will change to white color for the first time). Step 3: If you need deeper red color, press and hold the red up button(at least 5 seconds), the longer you hold, the deeper red color you have. You can also press green and blue down, the changing will be more clearly. Step 4: Keep the color you just set by pressing the DIY1 button again. Step 5: Repeat the steps above to set the rest of five DIYs.

Answer:	Not with this unit. Think it's suppose to last for several thousand hrs. and since I only use it several hrs a day, then I'm not too worried about that. But, It is a perfect light for me to attach to my small easel for painting. The different light temps make it nice to see paint colors with. And it is extremely adjustable and the clamps work great! For the price - I was very happy!
