| Answer: | The knife is perfectly symmetrical in design and therefore ambidextrous. Feels awkward for me in my left hand, but thats just because I'm not left handed. Keep the thing oiled though. It rusts quite quickly without maintenance. |

I personally recommend Remington gun oil, but if you intend to dress animals or cut food of any kind, walnut oil is the usual protectant of choice. Nothing worse than gun oil in your food- I use walnut oil on all my carbon cooking knives and cleavers. |
