Answer:	Yes, you can use them to apply leather conditioner to boots and/or anything. I use these to apply leather conditioner to my leather seats in my Range Rover. They are great at evenly applying just about anything to anything. Not limited to car use. I am not sure why the previous answer would say otherwise, they are a foam applicator pad, marketed for car people, but can be used for anything.

Answer:	I've used these applicators for all 3 products with great results... I would be careful to not mix them up or at least to clean them thoroughly between uses.

Answer:	Yes you can. It makes it a lot easyer to do. However...if you have scratches that do not come out with this and your scratch remover, you will need to move to a wool pad or like a terry cloth towel to get more aggressive. Hope it helps!

Answer:	I measured the bottom inside layer of the pan. It is 15" x 11". If I measure from top of the lip in both directions, it is 16x12". Unless you have a specific requirement for your measurements, I highly recommend these pans.

1. There may have some lint wool hair when first using the pad, please let your machine idling with the pad for a few minutes to help shake off the lint

Answer:	Yes, the 5'' pad is for 5'' backing plate, the pad sponge face is 6''. You may see the label is 6'', because the manufacture used the sponge face diameter for naming. They've changed the label recently. To varify the pad size, just measure the diameter of velcro back.
Question:	Do they make one for 6 inch buffers
Answer:	The course is approximately 5000 and will remove 1500 grit sandpaper, the medium is approximately 7-10,000 and starts a good brite and clear polish. The black is 10,000 or finer. Remember that the grade, brand and quality of the compounds, polish and waxing product greatly change the properties of the pads. The type of paint or clear coat you are polishing and the cure times for the paint - clear coats are greatly different in polishing grits if they are not completely cured out. I use a 6" RO polisher on guitars and usually wet sand all the way to 3000 tp 5000 depending on the hardness of the top coat. Then i use a orange or course pad with a mild compound, then a medium with a polish and it looks pretty good by this point. Final polish with a real wax and fine pad and it looks like glass. A lot of people go straight from 1000-1200 wet sand with a course pad and a aggressive compound and work their way up to the final polish. Good luck and may a brilliant gloss be in your future!
