Answer:	The bulbs may work in regular fixture that has a ballast. But ballast may have its own problems maybe it overheats and turns itself off and on. I have 50 of these that work fine when I bypassed all the ballast and completely reliable but two that I did not rewire, at first, and seemed to be fine for a time. But if then they did this turn off thing and then turn on again a few minutes later. Repeat. The fixture wasn’t as easy to get into which is why I skipped the rewire. But on this problem, I went to the effort, I opened the fixture and bypassed the ballast, which was also very hot, obviously defective so I removed it using potholders as it was too hot to hold for several minutes! No more turn off on intermittent but work fine now. Did you rewire to bypass the ballast?
