Answer:	The hue hub directly controls the bulbs (one hue hub can control 50? bulbs). Alexa can install a “skill” (an app/program) that communicates with the hue hub. The end result: You say “alexa turn on bedroom light", Alexa passes the request to the hue hub, hub turns the light on, Alexa gets a reply that the request was fulfilled and lights are on. You can control the hue hub directly with an app, or you can use an apple or google smart device to do the same thing that alexa does.
Question:	How much heat can they take. Can they be used above a stove
Answer:	I have an Echo dot gen 3 and purchased these bulbs last month. Got them connected easily and they worked for 3 weeks and now Alexa cannot discover them. I tried to leave a review on my purchase, but the message says they’ve noticed unusual reviews on this product so they won’t let me leave one. Guess everyone is having the same issue.
Question:	Just put all my lights in the home and my hue app isn’t finding them, they’re on and hue bridge is connected. Am I missing something
Answer:	Just got these for Prime Day deal. You need a hub to take full advantage of voice control (Alexa/Google). Otherwise, you need to set them up via Bluetooth for Alexa which means the Echo device needs to be within 30 feet of the lights. Even my Echo Dot 4 feet away from the lights, the operation of the bulbs is hit and miss. Worked bout 85% of the time. The rest of the time the Echo said it couldn't communicate with the lights. You can also use the Philips Hue (Bluetooth) app. For the price, I really was not impressed with the functionality of them. Also purchased some LOHAS Smart LED bulbs (got 3 bulbs for the price of these 2) and those work great. The LOHAS are both Bluetooth and Wifi, with no hub needed at all. Cant really recommend the Philips as I don't want to purchase a hub. Will most likely return these as the LOHAS bulbs work way better.
Question:	Will these work with Aqara hub
Answer:	I have one that came with my Echo Show 10, it paired with the Echo Show and the other Echos can control it no issue. But you have to have an Echo with Zigbee function - that means the older Echo Plus, or the new 4th gen Echo or an Echo Show 10. If not, you'll need to use Hue's hub and use the Hue skill to link to your Alexa network. Of the choices, I recommend the show, because it gives you visuals when installing. however most my smart devices are wifi using the Smart Life app and intergrate using that skill.

• Manually add lighting equipment and select WiFi connection
• power on the bulb with your switch,and repeatedly turn “on-off-on-off-on” the switch to activate the bulb into rapid blinking status.
• wait till the bulb rapidly blinks(about 0.5second per blink).tap the confirmation button

AP mode

• If the bulb can't be connected, try clicking on "AP mode" in the top right corner.Power on the bulb with your switch
• when the bulb into rapid blinking status,then turn “on-off-on-off-on”,ensure light is slowly flashing,tap the confirmation button.

Time schedule

Schedule a time for the smart bulbs automatically switch on and off. For example, set a schedule to turn on at PM 7:00 to light up the porch and turn off in the living room at PM 11:00. So the smart light bulbs doesn't interfere the night sleep.

APP remote control

The Smart Life app allows you to easily adjust your smart bulbs anytime, anywhere, which is more convenient than using a remote control. Elevate your home devices and lead the way to exceptional smart living with this soft white lighting.

Group control

1. Click on the "Home" page.
2. Select a bulb that you want to control.
3. Click on the "... " option.
4. Click on "Create Group".
5. Select all the bulbs you want to group and manage.

Connecting Tips (Peteme Smart Light Bulbs only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.)

There are two types of device network distribution, EZ Mode (quick flash) and AP Mode (slow flash):

• Smart Mode

EZ Mode (quick flash) ：Firstly, make sure that the device is powered off for more than 10 seconds, then power on the device. Next, switch the power of the device three times (on-off-on-off-on, and the interval between each on and off needs 2 to 4 seconds). Wait for a while until the lighting device starts flashing quickly, and the device enters EZ Mode. You can add the device now.

• AP Mode

AP Mode (slow flash): There is no need to power off the device, but you need to turn on and off the power of the device three times (on-off-on-off-on) while the lighting device is flashing fast (the interval between each on and off requires 2 to 4 seconds) . Wait for a moment until the lighting equipment starts to flash slowly, the device enters AP Mode. You can add the device now.

① Download the Smart Life app, register an account and login

② Click "+" in the upper right corner - All devices - Lighting Devices

③ turn on the switch 3 times: on-off-on-off-on until it's flashed quickly

④ Click "confirm light blinks rapidly" and then input the correct WiFi password (2.4Ghz WiFi)

⑤ Within 30 second, it will be connected



➤Work with 5G WiFi ?



➤Remembering all routers today work in mixed band there you have to disable the 5ghz band and configure only with the 2.4ghz enabled after everything is working, after setup you can active 5ghz again



➤How to connect with Alexa Echo?



Step A: Tap “Skills&Games” in the hamburger menu, then search “Smart Life”. Select “Smart Life” and tap “ENABLE” to enable the Skill.

Step B: Type in your Smart Life account and password, don’t forget to select the country/region where your account belongs to. Then tap “Link Now”

Step C: After the skill binding is successful, Click “DISCOVER DEVICES” then Discovered devices will be shown in the list.

Note: every time you change the device’s name on Smart Life app, Echo must re-discover before you control them.



➤How to connect with Google Home?



Step A: On the homepage of Google Home app, click the button in the lower right corner, select “MORE SETTING”, select “Home CONTROL” under the list of “ASSISTANT”, and then click the plus sign in the lower right corner

Step B: Find "Smart Life " in the list. In the new window, select your Smart Life account’s region, type your Smart Life account and password, then tap “Link Now”

Note: pls use one Google account to control “Home Control Action”. If you sign in Google Home app with several Google accounts, only the first Google account you signed in can be used for “Home Control

Question:	My apartment has a community wifi with installed routers and each with individual account. where do i find the mac address on the bulbs
Answer:	I bought one back in March and I did send in a feedback that their user manual and the interface of the smart bulb APP is out of date. You can't follow exactly what the manual says, you have to play around with other option on the APP to connect your smart Light to the smart APP.
