Answer:	I had the same problem with the lights not going all the way off. Bought a new fan that came with 3 LED bulbs. I finally realized that the bulbs that came with the fan were NOT dimmable LED bulbs. They did not say dimmable on the box. There does not appear to be a way to tell by looking at the bulb and when they were in the fan they did dim but not go all the way off. I replaced them with dimmable LED bulbs (bought new and in a box that clearly said dimmable LED) and everything works as expected. Lights go all the way off using the remote. So - I would say check the LED bulbs that you are using and be sure they are truly dimmable.

Answer:	If the remote does not work in the default “all up” position, then the only way is to remove the fan and check the dip switch positions on the remote box inside. Both units should match. Change the remote to match the fan.
