Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

Answer:	Imagine getting something at the store where the package is hard plastic. You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). Answer:	I would not recommend this product for any use. I used it 3-4 times with regular sized can and it worked poorly at best. Next time tried to use and the brand new Duracell batteries about a month later and it was not able to open anything. Wish I had returned it right off because then I found it was too late to return and I'm just out the money I paid for nothing useful. It only uses batteries and nothing "professional" about it.

Answer:	I have tried to open cans of several sizes and they can be opened without problems.

Answer:	I've only used it for family sized cans, but it's tall enough to open large cans. However, I'm not sure if a commercial sized cans would fit.

Open your cans/tins with hygiene in mind courtesy of the Auto Safety LidLifter from Kuhn Rikon. Once attached via the automatic, ‘lock-on’ mechanism, the opener removes lids without any contact whatsoever with the contents of the can/tin. It also prevents the all-too-common problem of lids falling into the can/tin. The device is safe to use as well as being hygienic: it doesn’t actually cut the metal, which ensures that unwanted sharp edges do not remain on either the can/tin or the lid. Answer:	The one I purchased in MAY 2015 is still poorly designed.As mentioned in one of the top reviews, the piercing end still has a straight tab instead of the L-shaped hook.It initially grabs the "lip" of the can OK, punctures the lid OK, but I find it slips off before the puncture is complete. The completed triangle-shaped hole doesn't extend close enough to the edge of the can, if you can understand what I'm saying.It's an OK bottle opener. I'm usually an OXO fan, but this product is disappointingly "average" in functionality compared to other designs.

Question:	Do I need to remove the clear tab on my speaker bulb remote
Answer:	I think if you do it carefully it would work well. It doesn't damage the can but it might rip up the top of the label. I wash my can tops before opening. It would be worth trying, the opener works well, is a reasonable price, and you would have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
Question:	Does this utilize a unique key or pin for Bluetooth pairing and securing connectivity
Answer:	It should. I would imagine you would hold the handle with your left hand and twist the actuator with your right. As long as you have two fully functional hands you should be ok.
Question:	Is there a way to turn off the start up chime? Like when power goes to the bulb and it makes the start up chime
Answer:	You don't need to wash it, because it doesn't get dirty. It cuts around the can and does not make contact with the contents. I would only wipe it with a damp cloth if you somehow happen to get something on it. The body is plastic, so I suppose that could warp or melt in the dishwasher. You don't want water getting on the metal parts because that could lead to rust. If you absolutely feel like you have to wash it, hand wash only, and do not submerge in water. Make sure it is completely dry before putting it away.
Question:	Will this work in a shower
Answer:	I haven't tried it on large cans but the way it is made it should open any sized can. I found it easy to use on all the cans that I used it on. The handle is big and easy to use. I am 81 and this is the best opener that I have found.
