Answer:	The cartridge fits inside the cartridge mounting bracket, which has an in and out......you need the whole filter kit MP99,MK99 filter system.
Question:	Does this have a Microbial element to prevent mold and bacterial from forming
Answer:	How often depends on the conditions in your household. The quality of water prior to entering your filter and the amount of water being the two biggest variables. I'm sure these can go up to 12 months or more without being changed, as listed in product description. However, I think for best quality you are looking at 6-12 months or when you notice significant flow impact or change in taste. To give you an example. My house runs on well water, it is extremely iron rich and if I didn't have a water conditioner, all clothes would be orange. I have a Culligan water softener/conditioner treating my water at entry into my home. This does most of the work and is great for all household needs. In addition, I wanted spring water quality drinking water. So, I installed Frizzlife filters under my kitchen sink. This filters cold tap water for drinking/cooking, and the water line to my fridge for ice. Could not be happier. I change filters every 6-9 months to get best results. It does reduce the flow slightly but it is well worth it for the quality of water. There is no alert for when to change filter. Take note of any change in flow or taste during your first filter, then alter your schedule to accordingly.

Answer:	It depends on how much you use the shower (based on number people and their use). On average they say you should change your showerhead every 10,000 gallons. I'm just changing mine every 6 months.

Answer:	The water feed is through the pipe from the wall. There is then a three-way diverter with settings for large head only, both heads and small portable head only. If you use the both heads setting there is a slight loss of pressure. Have not found it to be very much of a drop, even at the both setting plenty of pressure for rinsing hair. Have made the pressure modification others refer to and my semi-scientific tests shows water usage almost equal due to shorter shower time. Easy to switch the flow diverter without looking. Have been pleased with product.

Answer:	Yes, there are now THREE restrictors. Are you kidding me? What are they building a shuttle craft valve? The restrictors are not easily removed. I used a small pick set and very small needle nose pliers. I had to break the last resistor apart to be able to remove it. Good luck everyone!
Question:	Does this model have the pause function
Answer:	It seems Moen has reconfigured the flow restictor. It is very difficult to pop out. I had to break my inward to remove and there is only one set consisting of white cover, rubber ring, and blue restrictor. Worth the effort though!

Question:	Can the upper shower head be shut off completely to just use the hand held
Answer:	Not sure about the antimicrobial question. . .but what it does have is a very rigid, cheap, inflexible plastic hose, designed to look like the flexible metal hoses. After many emails to Delta customer service, they let me buy a flexible metal hose at a reduced price. Later, I found a very similar metal hose at Walmart for $13.00, half the price of Delta's discounted price to me. Delta and most corporations today make downgraded versions of their products for sale in big box stores.

There’s also something called plumbers putty and plumbers tape that you can put around where it actually tightens if that’s the problem.
