Answer:	The Cord Pulley is made to assist the cord flowing into the cord lock. Some people use screw eyes but screw eyes are harder on the cords than pulleys. They all work together and we include instructions.

Answer:	I can only answer for myself, since everyone's foot shape is different. Currently, it's winter and only 20 degrees F, so I'm wearing cotton ankle socks, and over them are the compression socks. My toes are cozy but not compressed. The pressure begins around the instep and goes up the leg, and I am perfectly comfortable.

Answer:	That seems like a loaded question. When I was 4, I figured out how to put a kitchen chair next to the counter. Climb on the counter and hoist myself to the top shelf of the cupboard to retrieve a bottle of Flintstones vitamins. I subsequently ate the whole bottle and had to have my stomach pumped. Kids are smart. Nothing is completely kidproof. Having said that, it depends on the type of window. Does it slide left to right or up and down? Mine slide up and down, and a child would have to be tall enough to reach high enough to unlatch them.
Question:	does this come with 2 pcs in a pack? or this is only fr 1 unit
Answer:	Luckily, I saved a packaged pack for back-up. The USB on it says 0 49793 09809 2, and it is indeed a 2-pc packet (which states "Fits 1" wide rail"). The cam locking mechanism also makes re-placing the lock easy.

Answer:	They work great. Seems like it would be easier to break a window than to try to force a window that is locked with two of these. Simply twist them until they begin to tighten to window frame, then clamp them down. They tighten the rest of the way when you clamp them, a lot like vise grip pliers. I'm adding two photos to help.

Answer:	it's always unlocked from the inside-It's to prevent entry from like from the inside of your garage to the inside of your house. You walk out you lift the handle up and it locks. Then you out the side door of your garage. This is more of an interior lock-set not made for outdoor Alaskan weather. The desert it would perform good.

Answer:	Interior only! There is no waterproof membrane for the individual buttons, the pot metal would corrode and or freeze in the winter of wet.

Answer:	Yes they work perfectly for that. I have young kids but I also love having fresh air in the house. So I use them to keep my windows partially open without the fear of having them fully open.

Answer:	I used them in vertical windows. The thing to watch for is that the opening on the locks is wide enough slide onto your window track.

Answer:	They don’t work on our windows! They are made for very old thin trailer house windows.. and if they would have worked only would need 1 I hope this helps.
Question:	How many do you need per window? One or two clamps
Answer:	These rings are solid with no opening, designed to prevent the cord from sliding out. I wouldn't want to unstring the cord either. You have two options: #1, depending on whether you need to raise and lower the shade, you could stitch in new rings. Then cut the cord and tie in a new piece like a splice. Or, #2, see if you can find large jewelry jump rings. I get them from AC Moore. There is a double jump ring that overlaps like a key ring. The largest is about 1/4". They are a nuisance to get on because they are tight but it would work. *You would have to wrangle the cord on before sewing. Good luck
