It has 4 openings at the tip (instead of 2 in the old version) to provide greater water output, and more smooth flow. It is also made from lead-free brass, and is slightly weightier (thus heavier duty). But the older flared version is still a very much loved version that is still pretty heavy duty. It's made in the USA (the new lead-free brass version is not), but is made with regular brass, not the lead-free brass. Bottom line, we think you'll be delighted with whichever model you choose. Answer:	Obviously depends on water pressure and hose size. I use a full size hose and we have excellent water pressure. Peak reach might be 12' or so.

Answer:	This nozzle will use without damaging itself more psi than a standard garden hose can deliver. You could put several hundred psi of water into this nozzle without damaging it.

Answer:	Pins are on the interior side. Should be fine for your exterior door. This is where mine are.

Answer:	Don't know how you define heavy duty or standard...metal leaf thickness was slightly thicker than the hinges these replaced. They have a bearing unit so they are more heavy duty than a plain leaf hinge. The big question for replacing hinges is screw pattern and leaf pattern. A steel door most likely won't have the 5/8 radius hung it would be square unless is a steel skinned door with wood rails. Anytime you are replacing hinges make SURE you are getting the correct leaf size, shape, and screw pattern. There are no standard just conventions.. Good luck

Answer:	The plates and the pin are all magnetic, so I assume they are not stainless steel. They look to be nickel plated, so that will make them somewhat rust resistant, but I couldn't attest to how well they will withstand the constant humidity in your location.

Answer:	No problem (if the hinge is a normal everyday hinge). All you would have to have to do is rotate the hinge which will put the pin on the bottom, pull the pin out and insert it from the top. However, another member responded the pin can only be inserted from on end. Not sure if this is true or not. Also, as suggested by another member, in rotating / flipping the hinge, the holes may not line up. While this may be true there's no guarantee the holes will line up even if you don't flip it. Hole placement on a hinge can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Answer:	Take a blunt punch and a hammer, firmly hold punch against the open end of the pin. In this picture, it is on the bottom. gently tap upwards with the hammer. Once the pin starts to rise, carefully take a flat screw driver at an upward angle and tap with hammer to dislodge the pin.

Answer:	It is the rounding radius of the corner. Some corners are square and some are 1/4 radius which is closer to square than a 5/8 radius.

Answer:	Just the stainless steel. It will hold up to the elements much longer than a steel hinge with a satin nickel finish.
