Answer:	Yes, most of the Kwikset single cylinder deadbolts work fine. I had an old Kwikset lock and it worked fine with my August smart locks of the 2nd and now 4th generations. I believe that August has a list of tested locks on their website. but many other Kwitset lock, not listed there, work as well.
Question:	My front door is sticky and when it's only partially closed the deadbolt can be sticky. Will this be a problem
Answer:	Yes, it will be in my experience. You need to solve it first. I invited a carpenter who solved this problem for my front door before installing the August smart lock.

Answer:	No. On "auto" setting, it requires both motion and low ambient light to turn on. In the absence of motion, it goes off in about 20 seconds. But if you set the switch to "on" instead of "auto", it will stay on until switched off.

Answer:	Sorry I don’t have those style outlet in my home. However it doesn’t block the outlet it’s currently in, it leaves enough space to use the other plug too.

Answer:	To my knowledge there is no way to change that setting. Actually 20 seconds is stretching it. I’ve counted as little as 12 on quite a few occasions. In returning mine for that reason.
