AC/DC Voltage Measurement

Contact the probe to the measured circuit to measure the voltage or current. Read the measurement result on the screen; when measuring AC voltage or AC current, the frequency is displayed on LCD simultaneously.

Answer:	Set the meter to vdc range to 20v and connecr the leads to the appropriate terminals on the battery. The battery should be a bit over 12 volts when the car is off, and roughly 14.5 when the car is running.
