Question:	will this work in a 1.25" thick ceiling
Answer:	Our Slim Recessed Ceiling Light with Junction Box can work in a 1.25" thick ceiling.
Question:	With the connectors, is it easy enough to run these serial and/or parallel with all the lights
Answer:	No. The junction box on these lights is so small it's nearly impossible to fit all the wire within. If you have more than one light in a circuit, do not buy these.
Question:	does anyone know the cubic inch volume of the junction box for wire fill? It looks too small to legally put even 2 pieces of #14 romex in it
Answer:	they are actually large enough for 2 -12/2 gauge wires. I did not put romex into them but used the standard 12/2 wire.

Step１

1. Turn off circuit breaker that provides power to the light switch for the recessed lights.

2. Cut a hole in the ceiling in the desired location using the template provided.

Step 2

3.Run electrical wire from the power source (switch) through the mounting hole.

4. Connect the supply wires to the junction box wires using the wire nuts provided.

Step 3

5. Connect the junction box to the Recessed Slim LED Panel Light. Tighten the connector by hand.

6. Insert the junction box through the hole in the ceiling.

Step 4

7. Push the spring clips up, and insert the lamp into the opening in the ceiling.

8. Turn on the circuit breaker and test the light.

User questions & answers

Question:	Will this work in a 2x4 ceiling? The specs say 3.74" (hair taller than 2x4 lumber), but how tall is it from inside trim to back of the box
Answer:	I would believe the specs given. We had more than 12" head space to work in. You may also want to consider along with the depth of the 2x4 the thickness of the ceiling material and add that in.
Question:	Are they easy to remove if need be
Answer:	Very easy. Just pull the light housing down, you will have resistance because the retaining clips are grabbing the sheet rock. Once you have a gap between the light and ceiling push clips up with your fingers so you can pull the light out without resistance.
Question:	Can these lights be installed where ceiling material is 7/8" to 1" thick
Answer:	Yes
Question:	Would lutron maestro model macl-153mlrhw-wh work with these lights
Answer:	If this is a dimmer designed for LED the answer is yes. I have 16 in use with a Lutron dimmer and they work great.
