2. press the forward or backward button to select the rintone you want.
3. After choosen the ringtone,then long press receiver volume button for about 5-7 seconds until hear receiver “ding” with blue led light flashes which mean receiver get into pairing mode and it will exit it automatically if it doesn’t get signal from transmitter in 5 seconds.
4.When receiver get into pairing mode,you should immediately press the push button to pair with the receiver in 5 seconds.You will hear the tone you selected which mean your operation is successfully.

| Answer: | I have it, and it's fast for detection so I have no worries for the average person (90%) who is going to rob you they WILL be seen and recorded...but a "smart" robber will have a 25 dollar wifi jammer to disrupt your network and your neighbors to get past it..but then you pair it with the ring alarm and as long as the cell signal is not jammed an alert should go off. I had a relo link camera, budget and with an SD card but it ate batteries and sometimes not record every event. This is a great device if you want easy and convince...but the best devices are expensive and wired only with a battery backup. |

I had my ring video doorbell 2 in its place by the door when hurricane Irma came through last year, and forgot that the doorbell was there until about 4 hours into the worst of the northeastern bands with the steady high winds and hang reason blowing sideways... which were blowing to the east - right at the front of our house. So at the point where I realized the doorbell was still outside, our power and internet were out but the battery was still powering the doorbell and I was worried about the internal electronics, but I took it inside, too out the battery, and put it on the counter and forgot about it for a few days until things started to settle down, and then the power finally came back on. so at that point, it was the Moment of Truth when I went and put the doorbell back in its place and when it reestablished its connection with the internet, every aspect of the doorbell worked just fine. It's been a year now since Hurricane Irma passed through Florida, and all the functions of the doorbell are still working just fine: the battery longevity, the speakers, the microphone, the infrared lights, and the camera lens are all fine. One other important thing to mention: our front door faces west and is right near the corner of the wall to the garage, which faces south. So, it goes without saying that it can handle the worst of Florida's relentless sun and humidity through the summer like a champ!! |

I would venture to guess most people enjoy the sound of their current chime vs an electronic sound. The Nest doorbell has had this feature since launch. Bad design choice and feels like this was done to upsell the Ring Chime at the expense of what's beneficial to the consumer. The Video Doorbell 3 uses the existing chime, but it's bulkier and unattractive - would have been nice to use this smaller version. |

Their instructions: "Fixed-tone: Adding a door sensor with a FIXED receiver ringtone... 1- Short press ringtone button, select tone, 2- Long press both buttons simultaneously (receiver beeps once), 3- Open and close sensor, 4- Open and close sensor again, 5 - short press volume button, 6 - Open and close sensor to check" |

Humanized Mute Mode
The door chime receiver features 5 adjustable volume levels of 0-110 dB for you to choose. Humanized Mute mode-0dB won't disturb a sleeping baby. Just press the volume key to set the volume level you want.
Colorful LED Indicator
There will be colorful light shining on the door chime receiver when the door is opened, which is good for hard of hearing persons, as well as makes sure that you always get an alert, especially on Mute Mode.
Battery Operated Door Sensor
The wireless door sensor is powered by battery (a 23A 12V alkaline battery), the updated battery type is more durable and easier to replace. Comes with a battery that lasts 1 year and up to 3 years of standby time.
When and How to Replace the Battery
The red indicator of the door sensor will flash 3 times at intervals and the plug-in receiver will ring by itself when the battery is low. If there is no red indicator lit up on the sensor when the sensor is separated, it may need to be replaced the battery.
Door Sensor Installation Guide
SECRUI door contact sensor can adapt to many different types of door/window frames. Please ensure that the horizontal installation gap between them is less than or equal to 0.4 inches. Please do not install the door sensor on the iron door.
