Question:	What is the ratio on this ramp
Answer:	I did cut mine, but had to buy a jig saw. Since it's rubber, it will always overheat. So while cutting, I needed to keep cooling the blade off with water. In the end, there will never be an "easy" way to cut rubber due to the nature of it. But it is doable with the right tool and lots of patience.
Question:	Does this product go over existing threshold so it ramps on both sides of door
Answer:	I cut mine with a small power jig saw. Might be tough cutting in by hand but with the saw it was no trouble. I notched one of them and cut the other to a shorter width to fit my door.
Question:	Can this be cut easily for a better fit
Answer:	Yes it can be cut. You will a sharp blade on a power saw. The ramps are heavy and thick rubber. Imagine a 1 inch thick car tire without the steel belts. Slower speed with the saw to prevent the rubber from melting to the blade. Smaller trimming can be done with a sharp razor blade box cutter.
Question:	Can this be cut easily for a better fit
Answer:	At the moment we only have 1 inch, 2.5 inch, 3 inch and 3.5 inch. Great idea though! I will bring this up at the factory. Thanks!

Question:	Do you need to use sealer
Answer:	Yes, I used a waterproof extra strength sealer. I think it was made by gorilla glue.
Question:	For those who used liquid nails construction adhesive to put it down, how long before you could drive your car over it into the garage
Answer:	I don't know what the manufacturer's recommendation is. I laid an "S" bead of liquid nails construction adhesive down, then closed the garage door onto the seal. A couple of hours later, I needed to leave and drove my car over it without issue. Good Luck with your project!

Question:	Can you apply this to a garage floor that has epoxy on it
Answer:	I NEVER cemented or glued this seal to the garage floor; this seal stays in place on its own. Just unroll the weathgerstrip and then roll it up the opposite way to counter the way it was originally rolled up. Then unroll it again and it should lie flat and in position on the garage floor. After you cut to length, just lie the weatherstrip on the garage floor where the garage door will rest on it when the garage door is lowered. I have never experienced the weatherstrip move while driving the car over it. And, I have had this weatherstip in place for quite some time.

Answer:	It is a flexible black rubber strip with a raised yellow rubber center strip. You adhere it to your floor with your own adhesive and the strip follows the contour of the floor. If you want a level installation, floor leveling compounds are available from big box DIY stores. I have never used one so i cannot advise except to say you should watch YouTube videos to see if you can level just your threshold, if that is what you desire to do.

Question:	I have a 10ft power strip and the cord is pretty thick. Would this be the best contraption to use to cover the cord
Answer:	the side channels are not big enough for much except a lamp cord that would have to be pushed through from 1 end, but the center channel is big enough for 2 large extension cords (12 gauge). I have 1 12 gauge cord and a flexeel air hose (1/4) in mine.
Question:	Are the side channels large enough for cat5? Assuming I've the patience at least? Is it continuous, or are there blockages

Answer:	If you take the cat5 plug off and run just the cable through the side channels, it will fit. Also, if you want to slit the side channels yourself just like the center channel, that is also an option, then you can just insert your cable.Just know the strength/structure will be compromise, so if you are just walking over it, it will be just fine.

Answer:	I’m not sure I understand your question but if you have a gap of over 1” that is not consistent across the 16’ door no product will cover that gap. You will need to have some floor repair to level out the surface. If you have a 2” gap over the width of the door, you can adjust the door closing height and use this product.

Answer:	Installed one outside our sliding glass door this spring..... heavy but pliable rubber, but I’ve not gone through a winter yet. My guess is it will do very well in that it’s thicker rubber than a car tire.

Answer:	I would say it needs to be adhered (as we did ours) or it would be susceptible to movement. That defeats the purpose of sealing out wind and water. Also, if not properly aligned, your door may not close as it should.

Answer:	There are many products to glue down carpet tile, you can use these products to glue down edge guard. You can also use contact cement glue.

Answer:	I am not sure but I would imagine it would depend on the adhesive you use to apply it. We have it on a transition between commercial carpet and vinyl floor tile and I know it tends to come detached when a forklift drives over it.

The product itself is an excellent value for the money and its threshold height is exact but unfortunately its "truck tire" odor was so strong I had to place and then remove it from my inside door threshold each time it was used and store it in an outside porch. This greatly annoyed me. These portable handicap ramps are very expensive and it appears the cut rate price for this model was based on using a cheaper recycled rubber.

Answer:	Just high enough to seal garage door at bottom, 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Your garage door should have a bumper on bottom that mix up with this to close the gap

Answer:	I am pretty sure that the yellow strips are there for safety reasons; neither the black rubber nor the grey concrete would be very visible in an otherwise dark garage or at night, and it would be easy to accidentally trip over the strip without the yellow highlight. Just guessing here of course, as I have not yet installed my threshold.
