Answer:	Yes. The unit I received included the 4" to 3" duct adapter.
Question:	Is the whole unit suppose to fit inside the 2x6 framing or does part of it sit inside the sheet rock section
Answer:	The Whisper Fit can be installed above or below the drywall. In new construction it is typically mounted to the bottom of the framing. In retro fit (after drywall is in place) it can be mounted so the flange is below the drywall. It is a snug fit for new construction in a 2x6 cavity but it fits. If more depth is desired 3/4" strapping could be added to the bottom of framing.
Question:	Which basic switches (without humidity, timer, motion settings) allow me just to choose among 80cfm, 110cfm, and on/off
Answer:	As Ric mentioned, the 80 / 110 switch is not meant to be switched as a regular option. Despite that, I did as James mentioned, and wired it into a normal wall switch anyway. I placed it right next to the power switch. Works fine.

Answer:	This fan has 2 settings. At 110cfm the noise level is 0.8 & at 80cfm the noise level is 0.3

Answer:	This fan is meant to mount permanently and cannot be removed after installation for cleaning. However, the grill is easily removable which will allow some cleaning. I believe this fan is made in the United States.

Answer:	I had this installed in my bathroom in my basement. They pulled the old one out of the ceiling and put this one in the existing hole in the ceiling.

Answer:	Thank you for your question on the model QTXE080 exhaust fan. The QTXE080 does not have a humidity sensor. The unit should be connected to a standard wall switch and should run as long as the switch is turned on. Question:	I need to replace an existing fan, what is the size of the housing? I assume this can be installed from inside the house, I have a first floor unit
Answer:	For the Broan QTXE080, the metal housing is 10-1/2" x 11-3/8" x 7-5/8". The two joist mounts run along the 11-3/8" side. The plastic grill is 13" x 13-3/4". It weights about 12 pounds. Just be sure to note that this uses a 6" diameter duct, whereas most older installations use a 4" duct.For my installations, I have one duct going out the ceiling on the 2nd floor bathroom, and one duct going out the side wall on the 1st floor bathroom. I had to cut the drywall a bit to screw in the joist mounts. My installations was to replace existing units that were cheap and noisy, this unit is really whisper quiet.

Strongly recommend to remove the duct part first, be sure to install the duct in the position so the housing will line up correctly. After using the screws to secure the duct connector to the edge of the hole,so that it will line up with the exhaust on the fan housing.

Question:	Can the fan and light work from separate wall switches
Answer:	Yes that's how we have it set up. Works great. Light is very white and bright.
Question:	Can this "built in" led light bulb be replaced easily in the future
Answer:	I would ask the manufacturer that question but I have asked that question on other exhaust fans. The most common answer was yes the light can be replaced with the same model light. They sometimes will list the model number.

Question:	Can this be installed in a shower encloser
Answer:	We’re not sure if it can be installed inside an enclosed shower. We installed the Luvoni inside our toilet closet. In our shower we installed a wet area approved can light and a vent directly outside our shower that we had wired to come on when we turn on the can light. Just so you know, the Luvoni light is bright (white light) and the fan is really quiet. Anything 1 sones or less will be very quiet operation. The one we installed next to shower is .07 or .08 and you can barely tell that it’s on. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Broan-NuTone exhaust fans are U.L. tested and approved. The AE110 is ONLY approved for a bathroom installation. It is not suitable for a kitchen installation. Question:	I have a Nautilus mdl N671 will mdl n688 install in same housing
Answer:	I ordered the 671 to replace an old Nautilus N688-H. The motor fit nicely into the existing housing. The tabs even fit in the housing slots. Plug and discharge orientations were identical to the old housing. Based on this single experience. I would assume a 688 fan would fit in a 671 housing - - - but I cannot verify.
Question:	Can u replace a nautilus n721 with this
Answer:	Look at the size of the base on the Braun...then look at the opening in the ceiling...if it will fit in that part is OK. Next look at the size of the plastic grill cover on the Braun. If it will cover the hole in the ceiling (the sheetrock hole) then that is OK too.You can find the sizes in the specs of the Braun on Amazon.Be aware that replacing these ceiling fans is something of a project...not for a first time do it yourselfer...on the other hand if you are handy and have a tool or two you can do it.
