Answer:	This heater is for 220 volts - 240 volts.
Question:	How much energy do they use? Worried about elec bill skyrocketing
Answer:	Actually, we ran it for two weeks straight because my electrician temporarily wired it so I could see if we liked it and my bill was about 150$ more that month. I didn't know he wired it so I could turn it off. haha. Anyway, after that we only run them when we are out there and I love them. I haven't noticed much of a difference in my bill...maybe 50$ and we run them when we are out there. Usually in the evening for 2-5 hours about 4 nights a week. My brother-in-law bought some tiny ones and they don't do anything. If you look at the schematic of how it heats, it really does...we put them above our couches to radiate down and they work great. We got two of the biggest ones. With all that said, they are 240 amps I believe and we had to have a new box put in outside to run them.
Question:	How does it turn off and on
Answer:	I suggest that you use Bromic's dimmer remote controls. You could also use a 30-amp rated double-pole wall switch, but I wouldn't suggest that unless the heater is going to be entirely above ten feet.
Question:	To install individual switches for each element on the 4000w unit, what is the amp for each switch? What type of electrical wire? 12/2 or
Answer:	8.3A (plan on 10A) per element. 12 ga should be sufficient, but please confirm with a licensed electrician. Answer:	It would depend what the amps/voltage of your current thermostat are. I would suggest purchasing with one of King's electric line voltage thermostats to get the full benefits of a ceramic baseboard heater. When combined with an electronic thermostat, you are able to feel comfortable at a lower thermostat setting which will help you save on your energy bill and enjoy reduced temperature swing.
Question:	Sorry one more question) - has anyone compared the 500w and 720w? Is the latter warmer? Thank you in advance
Answer:	The major difference is in the heating element. The ceramic heating element has a ceramic core. The core holds heat, slowing the on/off cycling of the unit. The more expensive unit is a bit more rugged in construction. Both will provide the same heat for the same wattage; both should last a long time. Generally the cheaper heaters are used in apartments and commercial construction where every penny counts.
Question:	Can this be installed beneathe a carpet directly on top of oak hardwood floors? My concern is damaging the oak floorboards
