Answer:	The heater is designed to be installed in the wall 4" above the floor. It would not be recommended being installed in the floor.

Question:	How long do these typically last? i have an older dec2422 from 2009 that i may need to replace already
Answer:	I have five of these that I installed as part of room by room remodels starting in 1998-99, replacing old baseboard heaters. One is a 120v and the rest are this model. We vacuum them occasionally, and twice a year we pull the grills off and clean them more thoroughly. All but one are doing fine. The one that is starting to fail is in our main bathroom. We think it's failing due to all the moisture in there since we have three teens lined up every morning for hot showers. Even then, that one's lasted 14 or 15 years, and we're replacing it with another just like it as part of a larger remodel (along with better ventilation). All the other heaters are working fine, including the ones we bought in the late 90's. I'm happy with these heaters, and plan to stick with the King brand.

Question:	Could you suggest a "super-heat source". to offset cold that enters a 200 square feet entry area, where the door is frequently opened
Answer:	Try emailing the Sabre co. and ask why.
Question:	Can this be mounted in the ceiling
Answer:	Mine quit working as well due to poor quality. I noticed that there was a thin strip of tape around the body of the unit about 5/8 of an inch from the end. I needed a magnifying glass and tweezers to find the end of the tape. I pulled off the tape and found two very small Phillips head screws (#00). Very carefully remove the screws and again, carefully lift the end away from the unit taking care not to pull out the wires. I found corrosion there and cleaned it with a very small SS wire brush. I reassembled the unit and now it works. Be sure to turn the switch off before starting! Hope this helps.
Question:	how many sq feet will this heat
Answer:	No. There are 3 "interfaces". 1) There's an On/Off switch in the tailcap for safety. When it's on the "Off" position, nothing works on the flashlight. Turn the switch to the "On" position, you have to locate a separate slide switch. 2) That slide switch has 3 positions - Off/Flashlight/Stungun. Sliding the switch from Off to Flashlight will illuminate the flashlight. Sliding the switch from Flashlight to Stungun will turn the flashlight off but it will arm the Stungun. You can also slide the switch from Off to Stungun directly but the flashlight will remain OFF 3) Once the slide switch is in the Stungun position, a third interface, which is a button that needs to be pressed, will cause a menacing spark to arc across the metal probes.
Question:	W2415 240v version; says 1500w or 750w; how do you know if only operating at 750w instead of 1500w
Answer:	It doesn't matter. For one thing, lol at the troll with the "minivolts". I thought he really believed it until he got into how they travel better than regular volts. Secondly, unless you know electrical engineering fairly well, (admittedly better than me) a single measure of amps or volts tells you almost nothing about any type of device's actual power. All electric devices need to be compared in total output power, such as watts (or KW,) BTUs, lumens lux, candela, etc. In the case of stun guns (Actual experts please correct me if I'm wrong) that's best measured in microcoulombs (μc). You want at bare bones minimum 0.5, but over 1.0 is more ideal. I will qualify that I am not an electrician or engineer, and this is only information I've accumulated through research.

It keeps my work space at 55 F when its in the teens outside.3) CFM is around 300 to 400. At 8' it feels like a strong draft.

Answer:	You can install the supplied bracket with a single centered lag bolt. It is a very sturdy bracket, so no worries about one lag as long as you're in a ceiling joist. We put washers above and below and tightened the lag to the point where we can still swivel the heater.

Answer:	it will be a little on the small size. it will take to long to heat up ,all heat will build up in 15 ft ceiling . i have 2 car garage 8 ft ceiling fully insulated and on a o to 10 deg day it is at its max . for my use i really like it . very nice and well made . you may need a little more wattage . hope this helps

Answer:	The fan is rated at 300 CFM and should be putting out more air than that. Check to be sure you have is plugged into a 240 volt receptacle not a 120 volt.

Answer:	They're small, so don't expect miracles. It also depends where/how you install them (ideally into a board with a cut-out just wide enough to fit it into, snugly). -- Since you get 4 of them, you could build 2 stereo devices! Or you could run 2 of them connected to each stereo amplifier channel in parallel (but that would require an amplifier that is ok with 4 ohm speakers).

Question:	Can the flame feature be turned off for use at night in a bedroom (so the room stays dark
Answer:	Yes, the moving flame feature can be turned off. The logs maintain a very slight glow, that does not disrupt sleep if you wake up in the middle of the night. It's awesome.
Question:	What kind of functionality does the remote have? Does it have a timer to turn on
Answer:	The remote has four function buttons: power; flame setting; temperature; timer. The flame height can be adjusted from 1 to 5; level 1 is lighted embers, level 1 is a low flame, etc. The temperature can be set in increments of 2 degress from 62F to 82F. The remote will allow you to see what the temperature is set at, but you have to adjust it manually from the control panel. The timer can be set to turn the unit off, but not on. It starts at 30 minutes and increases in hourly intervals from 1 hour to 9 hours. Unlike the temperature, the timer can be set with the remote. Your local hardware store might have a timer you could attach to it to turn it on automatically. I don't know that for a fact, but I don't see why it wouldn't operate similarly to any other electrical appliance that can be used with a timer.
Question:	How much does it cost per hour to run
Answer:	It's a very good and responsible question, and yes, there is a way to answer it. It requires you check your electric bill and so some math, but you really only have to do this once. You're going to calculate how much you pay per kilowatt hour (kWh) which really is just how much it costs to run any electrical item in your home for each 1,000 watts. STEP 1: Find your most recent electric bill, look for any charges that are based on killowatt hours (kWh). For example... I live in NYC, and my probably outrageous bill had (Supply @9.1811 cents per kWh) + (Delivery @12.0324 cents per kWh) + (Clean Energy Benefit @ 0.6811 per kWh). I also note that Sales Tax is 4.5% and write all these down. STEP 2: Add them all up then apply sales tax. So for my bill, I get (9.1811) + (12.0324) + (0.6811) = 21.8946 cents per kWh. To factor in the Sales Tax of 4.5%, I calculate (21.8946) * (1.045) = 22.87986 cents per kWh. I round this up to 23 cents to make it easy, so that means it costs me 23 cents per hour to run a 1,000 watt appliance. STEP 3: Multiply your hourly cost by this appliance's wattage. The details indicate this is heater is 120 Volts at 12.5 Amps. To calculate watts is just (volts) * (amps). So (120 volts) * (12.5 amps) = **1,500 watts**. NOTE: this is very typical for major appliances such as air conditioners, space heaters and even running a clothes iron. With that in hand, multiply the kWh cost from STEP 2 by the wattage of this heater. So for me, since it costs me 23 cents per kWh to run something, that means at 1,500 watts it would cost me (23 cents * 1.5) = 34.5 cents to run this heater every hour. Yes, I rounded up a bit earlier (my real cost is 34.31979), but I like to overestimate just a little to play it safe. STEP 4: Multiply your cost to run this hourly by how many hours you might run it. This is where it gets very controversial because I think most people do not understand their own energy costs or usage and get a shock (no pun intended) from their electric bill. Let's say I run this heater 6 hours per day in a 30 day month. That's 180 hours * 34.5 cents per kWh = $62.10 just to run this one heater. STEP 5: Think about how you're heating your home. Remember that 1,500 watts is VERY common for major appliances as noted above, and other smaller heaters might be around the same, or possibly 1,000 watts. Let's say you're a family with a space heater in each room to keep people warm. Let's imagine those space heaters were 1,000 watts each. That means at 3,000 watts, you'd be paying DOUBLE in electrical costs instead of just having the family huddle together near this large heater in the living room. Summary: Do some due diligence and check your electric bill charges per kWh, then check the wattage of each heating appliance and do some simple math according to many electrical appliances you are running to heat your home. This exercise seriously shouldn't take too long to do, and you can use this same method to understand what it costs for air conditioning in the summer, and even how much it costs to run giant flat screen TVs or computers. Though for those panels it's far less... my 55" flat screen TV runs at 250 watts max, and my computer about 300 watts with monitor, computer and max gaming settings. Heating and air conditioning are what crush your electric bill, so do this and you'll see how valuable it is to have one large machine doing heating/cooling for a large area rather than multiple individual ones. PS: I haven't even bought this yet, but I wanted to help educate the person who asked the question, because this is a VERY important thing that so many people don't do, and I don't like seeing people throw money away. IMO, this is a very good purchase just for saving on electrical costs.
Question:	is it noisy
Answer:	Yes the machine is noisy. When the heat is on there is a low drone which isn't bad and is to be expected. The noise from the heater isnt the problem. It's when the flames and heater are on but the heat kicks off bc the room is at the desired temperature. At this point the flames make a very loud and annoying sound. If you lower the flames to the lowest setting this noise too will go away.

Answer:	I don't know! Sometimes I leave mine on all night and other nights turn it on or off during the night. I absolutely love it though. So glad I got it. I ended up getting two. Do you want it on more than 10 hours?

Answer:	This answer was found on the WWW : My new blanket works great. Then I changed my sheets and would get the F2 problem. Very consistent after 5 tries with F2 blinking by unplugging at wall outlet and comes on with F2 blinking. Let it rest a night and still the same. Then I unplug it at the blanket. Hmm, notice a pin was lower than the others. PUSH BACK IN FIRM and tried again. Perfect.

Answer:	The floor would probably be better.

Answer:	On the back of the unit. It is not calibrated for a specific temperature set, but in my experience turning the knob about 1/2 way will shut off the heater coils at about 65 degrees.

Answer:	The battery life is awful. I’ve charged it fully, taken right off the charger and gone out, and it’s lasted as long as 40 minutes and as little as 17 minutes with a full charge.
Question:	I have an outlet under the sink. Would it be okay to install a plug to proper gauge wiring and simply plug the heater into the outlet
Answer:	It is about 1/4th of an inch
Question:	What amp circuit breaker does this need
Answer:	They are not particularly loud. I am not very knowledgeable about trains so I don't know how loud you need it. I used them for a voice output switch to assist a student with disabilities and the switch must be turned up fairly loud to hear. Hope that helps.
