Question:	Could I use a vinyl floating floor on top? If so do I use a leveler on top
Answer:	Hello, yes most vinyl flooring can be used on top of this type of heating system however it is always best to check with your vinyl flooring manufacturer to see if their flooring is compatible with floor heating. The heating elements must be completely covered with a leveler to ensure there is no direct contact between the heating element and the underside of the vinyl, the leveler also ensures even heat distribution.
Question:	Can install 2 sets of 200 sq ft in one thermostat
Answer:	Hello, the 200sqft mat uses 2400watts, most 240volt thermostats have a 3600watt (15amp) limit. You can however add a power relay to the thermostat to increase total load availability, depending on amperage of relay you could then connect the second 200sqft mat. I'd suggest involving and electrician to check all supporting wiring is sufficient.
Question:	Could this be used under a rug in the garage
Answer:	Hello, the LuxHeat heating system is designed to be in-bedded in a mortar or self-leveling compound. The mortar or self-leveling compound acts as a heatsink, as well as to ensure even heat distribution throughout the floor.
Question:	can it be used in bathrooms
Answer:	Hello, yes the LuxHeat mat is approved for wet areas (bathrooms). As with all electric floor heating systems it's important to keep the join (connection between Burgundy heating wire and black cold lead) outside of the shower. If the mat is used in the shower area it's advisable to remove 2-3 feet of cable from the mat to ensure join is 2 feet outside shower.

Answer:	Hello, yes our 120 volt Luxheat floor heating mat starts at 10sqft and goes up to 100sqft, and our 240 volt range starts at 35sqft and goes up to 200sqft.
Question:	Can the end of the heating wire be cut if I don't need all of it
Answer:	Hello, the red heating wire cannot be cut, however if you start to run out of space you can remove the heater wire from the mat and lay it in the open spaces. Important: At no point must the heating wires cross, and make sure your wires are at least 1 inch apart.

The Cable Monitor is a continuity tester, which is easily connected to the heating system, and immediately sounds an alarm and shows a red light if the cable is damaged in any way during the installation of the radiant heating system or of the floor. 



★ HOW DOES IT WORK? The Cable Monitor constantly measures the continuity of the floor heating cable. If there is a break in continuity, the Cable Monitor immediately alerts you with a loud alarm and a red warning light. 



★ HOW IS IT CONNECTED? Each lead wire from the floor heating cable is connected into the connection points on the Cable Monitor. Tighten the screws to hold the wires in place. Electric Floor Heating Cable

SunTouch WarmWire is a series resistance heating cable assembly for installation over plywood, backer board, or a concrete slab (according to ANSI or TCNA guidelines), and then embedded in 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) or greater self-leveling or polymer-modified thin-set mortar.

SunTouch WarmWire cables contain an electric heating wire to provide underfloor heat in bathrooms, kitchens, entryways, and other areas and are an affordable alternative to radiant heated mats. Approved for installation in shower applications where permitted. The durable, constant-diameter wire is easily secured at 2.5 in., 3 in., or 3.5 in. intervals with CableStrap. Controlled by a SunStat floor sensing thermostat (sold separately). WarmWire is available in various lengths with voltage options of 120 or 240VAC.

WarmWire Installation

WarmWire is the most flexible choice for irregularly-shaped or curved rooms and stairs. For typical installations, WarmWire is spaced at 3 inches on center. For areas with high heat loss, the spacing can be lowered to 2.5 inches for added warmth. In hallways and rooms that are well insulated, spacing can be increased to 3.5 inches on center. Controlling the level of warmth is easily accomplished with a connected SunStat Thermostat.
