Answer:	Yes, all of your existing openers will still work. What this does is allows you to see if your garage door is open or closed no matter where you are (at work, on vacation, anywhere where your phone can connect to the internet), and it allows you to open or close it from anywhere from the app. You can also set alerts so that you get notified when somebody leaves it open and you can schedule it to close at specific times. So it is MUCH more than just a remote control in your car or on your sun visor.

Answer:	It is really shame that Chamberlain myQ decided to NOT support SmartThings. After their announcement to support it (which was if I remember 2015 or 2016), I actually switched all of the garage openers to be myQ compatible... which ended in major disappointment because they never got out the integration. There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.

Answer:	Yes it can. You adjust where the door stops when it is fully down by pushing a control to set the stop, and also set the position when it is fully open by pushing the control. So you set where you want it to be fully open depending on the height of your door

Answer:	Depends on what is wrong. Check the wiring connections first. When I had difficulty getting it to work it was because the old wire ends had corroded so I just needed to cut the old wires shorter so get rid of the corroded ends.

Answer:	Yes, if the door is balanced and the weight of the door is supported by the springs, the B510 will indeed work with a 2-car garage door. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Question:	I am buying this for a single door which is well balanced. Would a 3/4 horsepower open the door faster
Answer:	No the 3/4 won't open the door any faster than a 1/2. The 3/4 is for a large heavy door. I have a 12', insulated Clopay door and the 1/2 hp works just fine.
Question:	Does this work with homelink in the cars
Answer:	It depends on the age of your homelink unit. Mine is from 2010, and it required a special repeater that plugs into the outlet near the opener unit. Cost was around $30. With the repeater homelink works fine. Newer homelink units may work without a repeater.
Question:	Will this garage door opener active by touching the wires together
Answer:	I think this is a valid question as most external internet-of-thing controllers such as z-wave, bluetooth, etc rely on touching the wires together to open/close the device. Most "dumb" garage openers are built that way. For this model I am not not sure. I have B510 and that one DOES NOT. The new models are built with two way secure connection between the wall switch and the device (they even have setup button on the wall switch like old ones didn't have). So, touching the wires together does not open the door for B510.

Answer:	There is no subscription fee.
Question:	How much does the cloud subscription cost to use the camera and store video
Answer:	Different design between Alladin and MyQ. MyQ is designed similarly to a wireless key pad and Alladin Connect is designed similarly to a wired keypad. I have both installed. The response time to open or close your door with MyQ is better. I installed the Alladin with a genie system. If MyQ is compatible with your system, it has performed much better.
Question:	Does it have a connection for a slide lock
Answer:	Yes. You have to link Aladdin Connect in the Alexa app. The only thing I don't like is that when asking Alexa to open or close the garage door, you must phrase it as "Alexa, tell Aladdin Connect to open (or close) garage door." Alexa will then ask you to confirm a pin number that you setup before it will complete the request.
Question:	Do i need to add a myq hub to integrate this unit to apple homekit? will they charge a subscription fee? how much is that fee
Answer:	The real answer is "kind of". As others have stated, it does notify you EVERY time the door opens or closes (which can be somewhat annoying if you have a busy household) and you can always look to see the state of each door (open or closed). However my need was for the app to AUTOMATICALLY notify me if the door was open after a certain period or for longer than a certain time. Sadly the current Android app does NOT have this capability (version 1.9.0.68). Happily the iPhone app (version 2.0.32) DOES have this capability. I have set mine up to automatically close the door if it is open after 10 PM or for longer than 4 hours no matter the time. Problem solved, but only with the iPhone app.

Answer:	Yes they are safe. I have used them for years and they last a long time. This bulb burns 53 watts of electricity but gives you the equivalent of 75 watt of an incandescent bulb.

Answer:	These use 72 watts of power and put out the equivalent of a 100 watt light bulb. The beauty of a halogen bulb. You need find a lower wattage halogen bulb that puts out the equivalent of a 75 watt bulb.
