Answer:	Your APC is beeping for it is running on battery mode. If it constantly going on battery you have a power spiking electrical problem which will drain the battery. I have replaced six (6) of my APC's and have not had any problems with these replacement batteries. Fully charge these batteries before putting them in service. Remember load size (what devices) when using these.

Answer:	At least one of my ES350 units has plastic "walls" in the battery compartment designed to prevent you from upgrading to a bigger battery. I THINK with a bit of minor plastic cutting, you should be OK. I'm going to try it. I'm sure it will WORK - but the lid might not close. Depending on your own setup, that might be a "who cares".Follow-up: Yes - I have mod'ed 2 of the 350 units to take these batteries - and the lids close. They were different case styles, and had different "you didn't pay enough to have a big battery" blocks in them. It was a fight given the tools I had, but if you have a Dremel, easy-peasy. Caveat: Now we know there's at least 2 styles - maybe there's more, but it should be obvious if yours is big enough to do what I did.

Answer:	I am not sure, we just ordered a replacement like the one we had, it works great for us.

Answer:	Turn the UPS over. There should be two perforations on the battery cover. Slide the battery cover off. The old battery usually is pretty well seated in the battery compartment. You may have to band the ups on a hard surface to dislodge the old battery. There's two wires on the battery, red & black. The wires are pushed onto clips. Pull them off (takes a little strength). Put the new battery half way in placing one wire on first (I think it's the black one). Then place the red wire on, slide the battery fully into the compartment, put the cover back on and you're done. NOTE: The battery wires are just long enough to reach the clips.

Answer:	Robert's answer is completely wrong. A 97Ah group 31 gel cell from West Marine weighs more than 68 pounds, so figure on about 90 pounds for a 130Ah gel cell. I expect that this is a pair of 7.2Ah 12V (nominal) gel cells, but APC's website or tech support would be the best way to find out for sure.

Answer:	Yes. Check the bottom of the unit for the actual model number and use the tool on the APC website. It will list the 123 as the correct battery. The 124 is exactly the same externally, just higher capacity. They will both work in the same units, you just get more time out of the 124.

Answer:	The difference is in capacity - The RBC123 is a pair of 7Ah batteries, the RBC124 is a pair of 9Ah batteries. They are physically interchangeable. Both will function in a UPS designed for either. The units with the RBC124 specified may have a slightly more robust charging capability, so using the larger battery will likely result in slightly longer charge times in the smaller 1000 VA UPS units. The difference in runtime with a typical load (an average desktop PC, with a 23" LCD monitor and normal peripherals) will be negligible - with the RBC124 giving you a few more minutes before shutdown.

Answer:	There is no fan on my BX1500M. Is quiet on Utility power and only a very low hum on battery power if you place your ear close to it.
Question:	Does the 1500va indicate it's amp hour (how many hours it will run?) ie 100 volts x 15 amps for 1 hour? or 100 volts x 5 amps for 3 hours
Answer:	The 1500VA/900watt rating has absolutely NOTHING to do with the run time. It is a rating of the maximum output level for a very short period of time. The BX1500M uses a 12 Volt 9 Ampere hour battery that means it stores 108 watt/hours of energy. The inverter (the electronic circuit that converts the stored 12 Volt DC power to 117 Volt AC power) is far from 100% efficient, and will not operate if the battery is near complete discharge, so the actual stored energy output for this device is 68 minutes at a 100 watt load. At the full load output of 900 watts the UPS will provide power for about 5 to 6 minutes before the battery is depleted and it shuts down.

Answer:	I did the same thing on my first unit, didn't plug in the battery. Went for a long time because the rest of the unit was working ok and I WAS SURE it would work if needed. It never would switch to safe shut down mode. FINALLY I opened the unit and found the battery disconnected ! Will make sure the next unit will have the battery hooked up as per directions.

Question:	What is the voltage? the apc network 40 charges to 16v, so a 12v battery will be a fire hazard in it after awhile

Easy DIY- Battery Replacement Instructions 1. Disconnect power to opener. 2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the battery cover on the motor unit. 3. Remove old battery and discard. 4. Answer:	I'm pretty sure it will fit. I have the TLR-1. It does not come with the hinge pin for the door though. Don't lose that piece.

Answer:	We live in a mid-sized town and have a Streamlight authorized repair center. They replaced my TRL-1s door free in less than 10 minutes.

Answer:	I don't have the strobe feature in my TLR so I can't comment on whether it will work. I don't see why it wouldn't tho.
Question:	Is this a genuine oem by liftmaster/chamberlain? i am seeing both yes and no here
Answer:	According to other reviewers, it does not come with the little metal rod. I am also wonder where I can get not just a replacement battery door assembly but also the rod that was lost when the battery door broke. It is very frustrating that the door assembly is plastic. They are notorious for breaking.
