Installation instructions:



1. Use a flat-head screwdriver or putty knife to separate the frame and the door so you have 6 parts (include 2 tabs).

2. Place the door frame on the screen, apply the glue to one side frame, then carefully cut out the screen against the frame.

3. Connect the flap with the cutting-out screen, used a closed fist to lightly hammer the two halves of the door together.

4. Apply the glue to the frame again further to strengthen the frame, take both pins of the flap in the hinge holes, and using the same pressing/clapping motion snap the frame together.

5. Use the retractable cable ties to fix the top 2 side door frames together to prevent fall down.

6. 2 tabs can remove to lock the door prevent pets go on and out.

I was using a glass dip pen directly from the bottle, not diluted, and using the dropper to make lines. Needed to wash the pen right away, and it took some work to get it all out of the grooves. I was happy with the colors and how fine the lines were that I could make.

Having said that, we purchased one about 2 years ago and it has been an absolute pleasure to have it and it has been more than satisfactory the entire time. If you keep anything magnetic, like a broom to be more specific, leaning up against the wall next to the opening you choose to hang your screen on, the magnets in the screen will in fact attach itself, thereby causing the screen to remain halfway open if you don't happen to notice that it took place. Otherwise, we have 2 dogs and 2 grand doggies who visit us often, and it's an absolute God send for that purpose alone. Also, because we are very outdoorsy people, we tend to go through the doorway with full hands and with this screen, I can't tell you how great it is not having to set things down or fumble and possibly drop the stuff. And then one last thing I'll mention about it is, and it's really just something silly, but it's actually quite the conversation piece too believe it or not lol. People just trip over it because they've never seen anything like it I guess, so they think it's just great. The one downside as far as I'm concerned at least is, once you've had it for a period of time and have gotten real used to having, seeing and using it on the daily, be careful going through the same type door opening when visiting at your family or friends houses because you might just walk into the closed door or screen more likely, and you could be injured, embarrassed or both lol. Answer:	The fabric is very strong, but will come out like standard mesh if pushed. You would have to secure the fabric to the window in a way that the mesh would not become loose. If it is rolled into the frame like standard mesh it can be pushed out like standard mesh. Use a very tight spline and it might help some, but depends on the cat.
Question:	Can anyone tell me the best diameter size spline to use with this heavier duty screen? It's for an aluminum window frame (versus a door
Answer:	The spline needed is based on the door or window you are taking it out of. If you had 1/8" in there before use 1/8" if you used 5mm before use 5mm. This product does not change the size spline you need. I have some windows in the house that take very small spline and some windows of the same rough size and shape take very large spline- it's all based on the manufacture of your window frame.
Question:	I have a Newfoundland dog, 160 pounds, that scratches the screen door to go in and out. Will this hold up to her? She doesn't jump on it, but she packs a punch
Answer:	I think it would work fine. We have five dogs, 80 lbs to 10 lbs, and it holds up great to all, and they all jump and try to scratch on the screen door. I was replacing screens every few weeks and this has made that unnecessary. Good luck!
Question:	i have a squirrel that climbs up my screen and tears it. has anyone used this and have it hold up against squirrels
Answer:	We like the squirrel, but he's now ripped thru our screen door too and raids the kitchen table!! The squirrel is not scared of anything. I'm angry!

Step 1: Lay Screen

Lay screening over frame on flat surface, overlapping spline groove at least 1" on all four sides.

Step 2: Insert Spline

Using concave end of screen tool, insert spline at one corner and roll into groove over screening. Place hand on screen surface to hold screen straight. Roll spline into groove on all four sides.

Step 3: Trim Excess

Trim off excess screening with utility knife on outside edge of the spline groove.
