Answer:	We have this net in backyard and use it only for lacrosse work. It is not staked down right now so I had my son use his lacrosse ball against it and it did not move at all on the grass. In a basement, if it is a bare floor surface I think you would definitely have to place it on a non-skid mat of some sort and weight down the support sides with something. On carpet, it might stay in position better without weighting it.

Answer:	Having disposed of the box quite some time ago, I will hazard a guess at roughly 4 foot by 3 feet. Thickness maybe 8-10 inches. The whole box might be smaller than that, as assembly is required. It was not particularly heavy and can be carried by 1 person.

Answer:	Hi, I used the Champion pitch-back a few times in the park to practice my throws. It is a sturdy structure and the netting is tough. If you can throw accurately this pitch-back is pretty good and it does have a wide target. I have a wild arm so I did a lot of chasing after balls. When I did hit the target, the rebound was good. If you buy this, the main thing I recommend is to use good sized tent stakes to anchor it down. The stakes it comes with don't work that well.
