Answer:	Depending on the level of play, I would say yes, but I do recommend a Varsity Adult set of shoulder pads due impact speed of a much larger opponent (Semi-pro, or Professional level). Make sure you measure the shoulder length of your shoulder points, and your chest circumference size. There is also different types of pads, based on your position (QB, WR, LINEMEN, CB/DB/SAFETY, etc). As with all football equipment, there is that possibility of injury.. I would call customer service at Shutt, as they could help you with specifics. I Hope this helps you in your decision.

Champro's Bull-Rush 7-Pad Girdle offers all around protection. The high compression polyester/spandex fabric keeps the girdle in place so the pads can do their job of protecting the right parts. DRI-GEAR will wick away the moisture as you sweat to keep you dry and focused on the play. The low profile on the garment minimizes the amount of weight that the athlete carries while maximizing protection including padding that wraps around to offer full coverage to the thighs. Available in both charcoal with black insets and white with grey insets, you are able to match any uniform. This girdle offers additonal protection, incorporating two additional pads to the lower part of the thigh into the knee for extra support.
