| Answer: | I feel your pain. I had to take mine apart twice. The smooth part of the smaller tube slides into the bigger tube. If you look at the grooved / notched end of the smaller tube, the edge is cut out like a bowl, so the ball sits in it more securely. The small tube fits very snugly into the big tube, so that when you set the height for your batter, the small tube doesn't slip down when they hit it. Good luck. |

| Answer: | Hi,Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. The 14" size is for sure geared more for softball due to its size. The 13" would be geared for a baseball outfielder or for softball again. The smaller sizes 12.5, and 12" are definitely geared more for baseball, but for sure could be used for softball. The bottom line is this a great backyard, recreational glove to play catch with or use for some recreational baseball or softball and it is more important to get the size that fits your hand size. | Answer: | The shell and palm construction are all leather, but there are other parts of the glove that make it not 100% leather (i.e. velcro strap and pro micro lining). |
