Answer:	We got it for both our sons playing different levels of baseball. One was being pitched to from the mound and the other was from closer. The one being pitched to from closer, it has worked great for 3 seasons. The other, it dented from the first day in the batting cages. Answer:	My 10 year old son uses this without trouble and I purchased a similar sized one for another son who is 8 and weighs 42 lbs for soccer (it carries the ball and cleats, etc) and he also uses it without trouble.
