Answer:	This is Amazon's fault. They do not allow sellers to edit the description page, and simply do not care in the slightest about inaccuracy in the description. But you must assume any ball purchased anywhere online will be deflated unless otherwise noted. As this is how manufacturer's send the balls to sellers.
Question:	Is the ball deflated when its shipped
Answer:	I have purchased three of these balls, and all three of them have cracked within the first hours of usage. Every time, it's the exact same pattern. The rubber that is used does not suit this application as it cracks. If you look closely at the ball, the pattern consists of four raised lines in a square formation, turned at 90 degrees to the surrounding pattern. The rubber ALWAYS cracks on the edge of the square pattern, completely along at least one of the squares - but usually ends up being two to three adjacent "joints" that then form large crack in the underlying black rubber inner lining. The texture (because it's raised) does not lend itself well to most patches, as they require something smooth to be able to bond against and complete the seal. After three tries, this one is now rated a DON'T BUY because the rubber will fail rather quickly. And for the skeptics - we do not have any rocks, barbs, or sticker bushes that have caused these holes. These were used on a sport court (smooth concrete) surrounded by chain link fence.
