| Answer: | You needn't be concerned about the durability of this product- it's solidly constructed out of (aircraft grade?) aluminum. The tritium vial is entirely protected, as well. As for whether or not it will fit the barrel, I just measured the diameter of my barrel where the sight is mounted, and it is .879" in diameter- and the sight fits perfectly. Keep in mind, the sight fits a relatively small area on the barrel, so a slight misfit won't matter, and in all likelihood won't be noticed. I do recommend that the end of the rod facing the tritium vial be polished (as described in my review on Amazon for this sight), but do NOT polish the end facing the user. Buy it- you'll like it! |

| Answer: | I put this on my 12 GA Mossberg 500 with 20" barrel and it has held just fine. I have had the scope on there since around January of this year and I have shot slugs, 00 Buckshot, 3" Turkey loads, bird shot, etc. and it has held zero the entire time. I love this scope and I don't see you having a problem with the recoil. I should note that I do have my shotgun customized with a ATI talon pistol grip and adjustable stock system which does take a lot of the recoil away. It is smaller and when I installed it there was no more movement on the sight. FYI mine was a GEN3 even though it says GEN$ it worked on mine. |

I use a galco matrix holster for it but I had to rework it because the front sight is larger and sharper on the back edge corners so rather than rework the sight I worked on the inside of this holster so the front sight did not catch when drawing the gun. I also use a Galco Miami vice setup and had no issues with that holster |
