Answer:	The HC300 uses no-glow LED lights. Sometimes an animal will look at the camera initially, but I'm not sure of this is because it makes a brief noise or if they can see the light. If I stand directly in front of the camera and quiet close, I can see a faint purple lighting. It doesn't light up any objects visible to the eye.

Question:	How do the batteries hold up in cold weather
Answer:	Battery life sucks! Tried this for for 5 months. Tried several different types/brands of batteries. Camera was set to record 15 second video. Batteries only last about 3 days of camera used only at night with limited captures. First and second day had full video. Third day, all video only recorded at less than 5 second length each. Apparently as soon as battery voltage drops only slightly, camera cuts back video dramatically. Replaced batteries after 3rd day, camera functions correctly. All batteries removed and tested and only showed a slight drop from new batteries (used batteries worked fine in flashlight).
Question:	Can you loom at images in the field? Does it have an ir night mode or flash
Answer:	This camera does not have field viewing capability. The LCD Screen is for programming only. Regarding IR, this camera is one of the better ones for night photos.

Question:	are these good for a thousand yards target shooting
Answer:	No. I don't believe any big buck spotting scope could do it. I've shot 1000 yard NRA sanctioned matches. Spotters in the pits below the targets put a large marker on the target and that you can see with a very good quality spotting scope,if the mirage is not too bad. At a 1000 yards a car would be a speck with these binoculars.
Question:	We're going to use these for only backyard birding, but I noticed that these new binocs have a "close focus" of 25 feet. Is that normal
Answer:	"Normal" depends on your typical use. If you typically will be watching birds that are not closer than 25 feet they will be fine. Birds closer than 25 feet will be out of focus. Most of the better "bird watching" binoculars have a close focus of 12 feet or less.
Question:	does this set of binoculars come with a strap and case
Answer:	Yes, they come with a case, strap, lens caps, and a lens cleaning cloth. They are a fine pair if binoculars. I purchased 10 of them for my passengers to use on a Mississippi Riverboat to watch the nature unfold on the banks and couldn't be happier with the product and quality. We are in our second season with them and I haven't had a single problem one!
Question:	Does this set of Binoculars come with Lens cups for protection
Answer:	If cups and caps are the same thing, then yes, this set comes with lens covers. HOWEVER, they are constantly falling off, so they are really of no use for protection.

Question:	So is this supposed to be btr-2 reticle or dz-223? makes a huge difference to me. what am i going to get
Answer:	Yes, just keep in mind he dials maybe reversed when sighting it in. My AR is a M&P 223/556. It works well. Got a 30 round group in a silver dollar at 50 yards. Only problem I have with it is up is down and left is right in the adjustment dials.
Question:	Does this model have the power change lever? it says so in the description, but it is not in the picture
Answer:	It's the largest disadvantage to this scope. For sure. I've used mine for over a year now for 100+ yard target shooting. It works. But it's nothing I would use for any kind of practical application. Be it competition, hunting, or self defence. But if you can deal with the eye relief, and have time to aim, There is no reason you cant shoot the center out of a quarter at 100 yards with this. For the price, it's a great scope for someone like me, with very little experience with types of optics/sights who is trying to figure out what optic they eventually want to equip.
