Answer:	I used mine on a 12 gauge with slugs for deer hunting. I found it to hold zero well, but this is really meant to be used for plinking and recreation. Sighting it in was a bit difficult. Adjustments are done with Allen key and the turn screws don't click. They just turn and then you have to fire to see point of impact result. I would go with a Bushnell trs 25 if you want a low cost high dependability red dot.

Answer:	You will not get 6 months on a set of batteries unless you are getting very little photos or video. Use Lithium batteries, they are the longest lasting. Rechargeable batteries do not work well, I have tried.

Answer:	I have not been lucky in love and I have not yet found a solar panel that I like, personally. Good luck.

Answer:	The picture you have above showing the back of the camera is a completely different camera, it shows 2 snap closures? Also shows a plastic back without the adjustable metal mounting bracket.

Answer:	To be 100% honest with you I don't remember as I have it out in the woods. However, I have a 2014 version of the same cam here. This one can so I highly doubt newer versions wouldnt be able to. Keep in mind You would be putting a very small lock through two easily breakable plastic "tabs". Just sayinnnn. You are better off picking up a Browning security box. Lag bolt the box to tree/whatever then use a decent lock on the box. If you are just trying to see if someone is accessing your pics then go for it with the 1/8 inch shackle lock.
