Instructions:

1. Assemble the battery into the boresighter.

2. Select the proper adapter that fits in the barrel of your firearm.

3. Assemble the adapter on the small end of the boresighter, then screw the adapter tight to make sure the adapter will be hold well.

4. Push the small end of the boresighter with the adapter into the barrel of your firearm. Make sure the boresighter is inserted in until it is sung with the crown of your firearm.

5. When you turn the light on, a small red or green dot will be emitted. And then you can adjust your scope’s windage and elevation so that your crosshair aims at the red or green dot.

Keep boresight light beam away from eyes.

Before boresighting your scope, make sure that the firearm is unloaded and the muzzle is pointed in a safe direction.

Answer:	I here people say "It is not PURE stainless" or real stainless is not strong enough. Its a 416 stainless meaning it has carbon in it. It is ferrous. "Real" stainless or 300 series isn't magnetic at all. Gun manufacturers don't use it because it is gummy and does not hold shape as well. Its purpose is better suited for wear resistance on static non bearing surfaces. Remington found this out the hard way on their 1911 pistols.

How to use the bore sight?

1.Unscrew the back cap from the bore sight by turning counter clockwise

2.Stand the bore sight on a flat surface with the laser side pointing down

3.Insert batteries (+ side up) inside the rear opening

4.Carefully push down and turn the screw cap clockwise to tighten the cap (the laser is now on)

5.Place in your rifle’s chamber and close the bolt

6.To remove - open the bolt if it does not automatically extract, manually remove the unit by tilting the rifle’s barrel upward (always practicing safe firearm practices)

7.Unscrew the back and remove the batteries to turn the unit off

Answer:	Good Evening Mitch, I would not buy this product from Amazon. The first laser came defective and arrived at my door stop sending error codes. When I contacted amazon they told me the seller was closed for a week but assured me that if I bought another one the return would go through. Amazon did not return the laser and now I have two of them, out a couple thousand dollars. After months of countless phone conversations and being placed on hold they had me send the laser back. After months of not returning the money and having the laser they returned it after threatening legal action. So now I have two working lasers but I only need one. I would highly recommend going through the supplier directly.

If has a removable carry handle and you remove it and mount the scope without the handle it will work perfectly. The carry handle is the problem. If you have a scope mounted on the carry handle like I do on my A2, you will need a laser bore sighter, either the kind with the taper mount that sticks down the bore, or one that looks like a rifle round that fires the laser through the chamber and the bore. I used the laser that look like a rifle round to bore sight my A2 with the scope on the carry handle.

Answer:	Yes, I have used it on a stainless steel Thompson muzzleloader. The magnet sticks but you will be lucky to be on paper at 100 yards. I’ve used this on Weatherby Mark Vs and found the barrel to not be square at that range. 20-25 yards max and even at that range, an 18” target is nice to have for the 1st shot.

Answer:	First, don't get a red laser. You can't see it very well in sunlight past about 10 yards. Secondly, the Sitelite requires various adapters to fit in various bore sizes; a big hassel. The Wheeler fits on every bore using a strong magnet with no modification required. The Wheeler has a better battery system. A green laser Wheeler can be used to scare geese and other birds out of your yard without shooting them. Just point the laser at their feet and they will take off.
Question:	at what distance can you see the green kaser
Answer:	The green laser is quite bright when and if it works properly. Mine had a short in the switch so its brightness was inconsistent. Still even in bright daylight it was not visible as far as I'd expected. 25 yards or so, more if aimed into a shaded area. Regardless mine had a faulty switch and the laser was not perfect centered in the unit, thus making my sighting in less accurate than expected. The rifle I tried this with was barely on paper at 50 yards. You are better off getting the Bushnell Prodessional Boresighter. I have it now and each time I've used it I was zeroed in less than 10 shots. It's worth the money way more so than the laser type. I tried other laser ones as well all had misaligned lasers that produced poor results.

Answer:	The accuracy is dependent on the accuracy of the milling of the rifle. Most rifles should be milled with close enough tolerances to make the bore sighter effective to get in the general vicinity of where the bullet is going to hit.

Answer:	Any gun with a picatinny or weaver rail mounting base How ever, you shoukd give serious consideration to how easily you can reach it to turn it on and off in the position provided by that mounting rail. There are no extension switches available for these. think through the practical aspects of using the laser. If you decide it will work well for you you should buy it.

HOW TO USE IT?

Step 1: Assemble the battery into the boresighter.

Step 2: Select the proper adapter that fits in the barrel of your firearm.

Step 3: Assemble the adapter on the small end of the laser boresighter,

then screw the adapter tight to make sure the adapter will be stable on your barrel.

Step 4: Push the small end of the boresighter with the adapter into the barrel of your firearm. Make sure the boresighter is inserted in till it is sung with the crown of your firearm.

Step 5: When you press the switch button, a bunch of green beam will be emitted. And then you can adjust your scope’s windage and elevation so that your crosshair aims at the green dot.

Question:	Can you use this to sight in long distances? how due you figure trajectory with grid
Answer:	This device will bore sight a scope so you can hit the target at 50 yds. Typically, It gets me within 10 inches of point of aim first shot. It optimally works for a center of bore to center of the objective lens distance of 1 1/2 inches. Long distance sighting is up to the shooter after you align the scope by firing and adjusting the point of aim to zero it at whatever range you wish to use as your zero. The grid has nothing to do with trajectory, it just helps boresight the scope right after it is mounted.
Question:	So what if your rings are high or low? how does bore sighter line up to scope
Answer:	it is set for standard mount rings. I have high rise rings and you have to guess where to set it . using the grid on bore sight its easy once you know where to set it

Answer:	Mounts in the barrel as previously described, comes with arbors that work from 22 to 45 caliber I believe. The optic part sticks above the barrel and in front of the scope. Looking through the scope and into the boresighter, You will see a grid. My experience has been that the center of the grid is off (will not be the point-of-impact). I have to typically center the reticle about 2 marks low on the grid, it varies slightly depending on which gun I mount it on. Also, will not work with many rifle sights since the sights will be well below the boresighter. Also, AR types may have problems as the scope centerline will be above the boresighter. IMHO, it is much easier on bolt action rifles to do it the old school way, just sight down the barrel and line up the scope.
