It should work fine. (but I don't think it works so good as a monopod, it lacks the stability of the 'foot') :)

Answer:	All the Optekas I've seen including this one have the concentric 1/4 and 3/8ths threads on the top, but this is to attach the camera. Don't know what you mean by attaching to a stand.

Answer:	To my knowledge, there is no hole at the bottom, just a rubber foot. I have not removed the foot to see if it has a hole, but I still am not quite sure you are asking. The top, where you can attach a small ball head if you want to, has a 1/4 screw and 3/8 inch screw. If I remember correctly, the 3/8" threads are spring loaded, so if you have a 1/4" female socket, the 3/8" collars just push down into the column as you screw in your 1/4" device.If I am remembering the other monopod I have instead, I will say that it is very easy to buy 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch adapters on eBay. I have never seen, but truthfully never looked for, a 3/4" thread.This is a very small light monopod that is suitable for small cameras. I used it for a Panasonic GH1 micro four thirds camera, to help with video while seated in stands. This would be fine for smaller cameras, but I probably would not use it for DSLR, and this not really meant for use standing...too short.

Answer:	Yes, it is removeable. Note the head base plate is only about 2 inches in diameter. Most head units have larger bases, so it may stick out a bit. Not necessarily an issue, but thought I'd mention it.

Answer:	If you're talking about the a48fbs6, the a48fd appears to have a higher load capacity, folds to a smaller height, and has a shorter maximum height.

Answer:	I think it may be overkill for such a compact body, though it's a really great head. The S4 head is more sized to your body, though I was not as impressed with its build as the A6. But the real weakness of the Benro videopods is in their bottom 'resistance cartridge' which is supposed to fluid-dampen and smooth out their movements. I found it ineffective for the task after trying 3 different copies , so I returned them all and went with the Manfrotto, whose similar bottom cartridge provided much more dampening against shaky movements.

Answer:	You know I think it fits pretty much everything. The reason I say this is because you can loosen or tighten the tension screws. And it locks the front of the trigger guard in. I have tried it with sig 226, full size .45 Kimber and compact and a CZ rami. They all fit.

Answer:	I have put a Beretta 92, a S&W M&P 2.0 4.25" barrel, S&W 22 compact, and a Taurus G2c in it. The Beretta & M&P front sight sticks out of the holster and gets snagged when pulling the gun out. A 4" or shorter barrel would probably be OK. Also, Springfield XDm 10mm will not fit.
