2. Separate barrel and recoil spring assembly from slide

3. Hold the slide with muzzle down on flat firm surface

4. Use a pin punch or small screwdriver to push the black plastic spacer sleeve down toward the muzzle

5. With the tension relieved, remove slide cover plate with your thumb

6. Caution: Removing the slide cover plate exposes spring loaded components. Be sure to keep your thumb over the opening to keep these components in place.

7. Install new slide cover plate and mount gun clip on either side of slide with screws and washers provided

Answer:	It's a true DA polisher!!. This exact machine is used by almost every detail and body shop I know of. Although it's a great machine there are better though. I have this and a PC 7424, and use both regularly, but for different purposes. I use this machine more for paint correction and the porter cable for applying wax and sealant. Hope this helps.

Question:	Anybody run this belt clip using the Hogue Hybrid grip sleeve
Answer:	If you mount on right hand side then yes the clip will extend and partially block the indicator. If this is an issue for you then you can work around it by using the clip on the left hand side. you could also use our universal Clipdraw for semi autos. That model can be mounted anywhere on the gun so you can work around the indicator when mounting the universal Clipdraw

Answer:	I would add a drop of loctite to the screws. I wear one every day, and I have broke the clip off a few times by snagging it. I just left the old plate on there a screwed a new clip on. I have noticed the strong side screw was loose last time I did this even with the lock washers on there, so I put a drop of loctite this time. But yes, see below, just take the factory rear slide plate off and install the plate that comes with it. It has two tapped screw holes that the clip screws into.

Answer:	YES.If you flip it to the left side, what was originally the bottom of the clip on the right side, will now become the top of the clip an the left side. The way it is made, due to the "L" shape cutout at the back plate,the top of the clip would now be above the taper at the top of the slide. That said, they do say it is ambi, so it should function properly.

Answer:	I feel safe as long as it is double action only. A 1911 or any single action with manual safety only may be a little more risky. Multiple safety guns no problem ie; trigger safety, grip safety and or manual safety.

Answer:	Hi, I love this item. It goes great when using it with a kydex trigger sheath (trigger guard holster with paracord). The kydex trigger guard will install under the Technaclip before the paracord loop is attached to your belt loop. It doesn't add any noticeable bulk while the firearm is secured to your pants. It does prevent you from accidently shooting yourself through thinner pants like kakis, dress slacks, bdu's and swim trunks/shorts. The trigger guard is made by several manufacturers and sold by several different companies. When drawing/brandishing your firearm, the trigger guard pops off the firearm and remains secured to your belt loop via the paracord. I installed the Technaclip on a Ruger LC9 Pro (no safeties and a hair trigger; no mods other than Technaclip; sweet, 8-round, 9mm, striker-fired, concealed carry firearm and works best with people who have shorter fingers) without locktite and it has not loosened up on me at all. Technaclip is still strong on my Ruger LC9 Pro three years later. I love not having to wear/depend on a holster. Both police and deputy sheriff's in Georgia have seen it on me in public and during traffic stops and have not said anything against this carry method (I have a firearm carry permit). Tip: Upon a traffic stop, tell the law enforcement officer that your are carrying a firearm on your person (don't draw/brandish it) while you are handing him/her your drivers license, proof of insurance and firearm carry permit. They will thank you for letting them know that you are armed and will not say anything to you about your firearm (unless you are visually under the influence of a substance, visually intoxicated and/or your vehicle reeks/smells of alcohol/drugs/pot). Vehicle searches are prohibited if you verbally say NO when asked if they can search your vehicle. The firearm is easy to disassemble/reassemble with the Technaclip installed. No loading or ejecting issues. Best carry spot on a pair of jeans is between the belt loop and the leather exterior tag (ie Wrangler, Levi,...). Carrying it here will allow you to sit down without the butt of the firearm sticking/jabbing you in the side of your chest/belly/back and is still extremely easy to draw/brandish your firearm with ease (tip: while your firearm is secured to your pants/shorts, you can cover up the butt of your firearm with the lip of your underwear to hide the firearm from site while at work, in a bank, in a jewelry store, at church, at a school/college, at the mall, at a theme park, at a public event or anywhere you want to carry without raising to much concern; this method works best with pocket pistols without magazine extenders such as the LC9 Pro 9mm, the Shield 9mm or God forbid the LCP 380). Use two pieces of thinner card board when tapping out the firearms original retention pin and when adding the Technaclip's retention hardware to prevent any scratches on the rention pin and) or the retention hardware (use the card board in between the secure, hard surface your firearm is laying on and in between the hammer/punch/adjustable pliars you are using to remove/install the retention pin/hardware). Keep the original retention pin in a labeled envelope in a safe and secure place for when you decide to resell/trade the firearm.
