If a bowler has a very slow ball speed this could work on oily conditions by adjusting the cover stock. I took the ball to my local pro shop. The pro was a certified in drilling all kinds of balls. First he took me out to a pair of lanes and had me throw a few shots with a ball I brought with me, he watched the roll of the ball then he got the track line. he then asked me how I would like the ball to react, I said I wanted it hard on the back end. He drilled the ball I went and threw a few shots with the new ball and liked the way it preformed. It took about 3 weeks of working with different lines but when I found the right line I averaged 225 for the rest of the season. Keep in mind everybody has a different way of throwing the ball. I hope this is of some help.
